    A few more photos of the VF-19 next to the Yamato 1/48 VF-1. This gives a good comparison in size between the VF-1 and VF-19. Any bigger and the Excalibur VF-19 will have problems squeezing into the display.

    Just completed Hasegawa 1/48 VF-19. This is a fairly big kit with lots of details. The fitting of the parts could be better, but that would drive up the cost of the kit. This is painted in medium naval gray with mild weathering. Here are a few photos.

    The price is not as high as I thought it would be for such a limited item. I have seen some crazy prices on eBay for Mospeada/Robotech items.

    Shuffle....a good anime but got weird in the second half. What started as a light-hearted romantic comedy turns into a dramatic tragedy then back to a comedy. A rollercoaster ride alright...

    So I went to Yamato's website to see what's up with the VF-4. Then I got distracted by the Gurren Lagann Yoko action figure... http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/release_142/index.html Ok..who the hell do you think I am for getting distracted by a plastic female figure?

    The color scheme is really nice, better than any recent Yamato VF releases. With that said, the price of admission is going to be high before any shipping fees. I don't know about the rest of you, but I have prepared my wallet to get cratered near December for one of these.... (Runs and hides in fetal position)

    Oh my freak'n gosh!!!!! I thought the first photo was a realistic looking figure until the bottom photos show she's real. So stunning!!!!! Hail to hotness!

    That's a cool photo of the YF-21. This guy's website has some other mecha in realistic settings. Awesome stuff!

    Mai Hime is not your typical high school anime. Here is a plot of the story: High school girls discover secret powers. High school gets attacked by monsters. High schools girls use secret powers to slay monsters. Girls became good friends and form group (Hime Rangers) to protect the school...... .......Then the plot gets a sad and tragic twist...... Girls discover they must battle each other for a "grand prize." If a girl loses the battle or her life, then the one she love dies as well. In the end, there can be only ONE hime! Body count and destruction goes up in the second half the series.

    This anime is actually really awesome with a good story. Clare develops in character and changes the people around her as the story progress. The back story of how Teresa affected her life was heart warming. Some gruesome parts with limbs getting hacked off. Fights are intense. Her powers grow to the point of whether she can control it or have it take over her. It is similar to the other anime, Freezing.

    Thanks Stark. A blank background looked a little dull, so I put the Master File books to good use. As for the display stand MichaelS, they are flightpose display stand by lost and found toys.     The first thing I setup in my new home after moving in is the TV and the Macross displays in the living room. Nothing fancy yet. I just unpacked a few of the 1/48 VF-1s, 1/72 Zentraedi mecha and a 1/60 VF-25F. Very clean and simple display for now. I will probably put other Macross stuff on display in the office room. But that is later. The three Macross dioramas are packed and stored in one of the the guest rooms. I will hopefully be able to bring those at the next MacrossCon on October.

    Started watching My-HiME. So far at episode 4 with the panty stealing creatures The scene with Natsuki chasing the little green panty thief though the school with her Duran mecha is like how Sheryl Nome rampaged through her school trying to get her panties back from the little vajra. Maybe Macross Frontier got the idea here. A nice balance of action, comedy and mystery.
