    That was awesome playing Sheryl Nome's songs at the airshow. It would be even more insane if JASDF had a few of the F-15s custom painted with Sheryl or Ranka graphics. Might as well go otaku all the way.

    In celebration of the 2012 Moon Festival on September 30.... When uninvited Marduk crashes the 2092 Moon Festival and captures Hibiki and Ishtar, Lt. Sylvie Gena kicks into action. After getting a hold of a Super Valkyrie II from her teammate Nastasha, Sylvie chases after them to the alien ship just as the ship begins a space fold. VF-2SS in hot pursuit.

    I found ways to save money for this expensive VF-4G. - Use coupons for food and grocery - Hypermile while driving to save fuel - Ate less costly foods - Set air conditioning system to use less energy - Postponed phone upgrade - Reduced magazine subscriptions to one only - Borrow stuff from parents instead of buying them - Cancelled useless memberships I think all these savings got me nowhere but made life more miserable. Haha....

    I usually wash the rubber tips with soap and water to remove the oily film. That reduces the problem with the tips leaving spots or stripping paint.

    I have to say, that car ramming the other car with a woman and girl in it was not cool. I was scared just watching it. Where are the police when stuff like this happens?

    Never thought a TIE fighter could missile spam like that. Must be a Super Strike TIE fighter. Was waiting for Ozma's VF-25S to come out of the asteroid field.

    There was no shipping cost estimate available at the time that I ordered from HLJ. I selected standard shipping. From previous experiences with HLJ, shipping should not be near $100 for a $335 item. Unless someone has to absolutely have it overnight once it comes out.

    Haha...I placed my order for this VF-4G at HLJ for 25,700Yen ($330US). Shipping is probably going to be steep. Goodbye Apple iPhone5.

    I am laughing until tears are rolling down my chin watching Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? of the Dead...Season 2. They actually have the two main charaters, Ayumu and Haruna, play with the Arbalest Arm Slave model from Full Metal Panic. Haruna explains to the vampire girl (Sera) about the Lamda Drive system that Sousuke uses. Then to Ayumu's horror, Haruna accidentally breaks the model figure while flying it around. Both Ayumu and Haruna yells in shock. I would never have thought Full Metal Panic would be mentioned in detail within Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka?

    Here it is in fighter mode ready to defend the Moon Festival from Marduk controlled zentradi or pesky SNN reporters. Yeah, it is the Bandai 1/100 model kit. Not a bad kit to put together, but it takes a lot of masking and paint of parts due to the way you have to put it together. I wish Bandai would just redesign this kit in 1/72 scale with modern fitting for the parts like their VF-25 kits. Also, I would like to have a regular kit without the fast pack.

    Thanks for the complements. To answer some questions and curiosities, here is how the September photo was done. + = Easy math. I took the background photo while flying over the Mojave desert in the morning and I took the VF-11 at around the same time of day facing similar direction for proper shadowing. Then crop and paste with some color adjustments and detail corrections. This is not too difficult, but it does take some planning to make it look realistic. Ok.....hmmmm planning something special for the Moon Festival on September 30th. Check back then.

    It looks like I would not be able to make it in time, as I will be in northern Japan. I was thinking of bring a couple of dioramas and posters. Oh well, maybe next year.

    That Kazuya boy just did not get Satellizer's hints to stop touching her. It does get better later on, but there is an overdose of fan service that almost gets in the way of the story. The fights do get more vicious later on with girl dramas. The real battle for survival comes in the last 2 episodes when those Nova things show up all over the place.

    Alright..started watching Kore wa Zombie desu ka? (Is this a Zombie?) All I have to say is this is some funny awkward stuff because of Ayumu's idiotic actions.

    Oh my goodness! As a Mazdaspeed 3 owner, what have they done to that Mazda MPS3 (Mazdaspeed 3)???? Would not be surprised if there is a pair of large speaker pods in the trunk.
