Okay, so it's not 'pilotable' but there is a certain robot I wouldn't mind becoming. I could just create robots to do the fighting for me.

I can beat it. I found the very first wave of Masterpiece Primes at my local WalMart when they just hit the states. Even though I already had the Import, I wanted to grab a domestic version. The shelf didn't have a tag so I took it to the price checker on the next aisle over. $24.99 Not clearanced, not on sale, just straight up miss-priced at less than half of MSRP. I bought two.

I accidentally knocked mine of the display shelf and other than the front chestpeice popping off and Priss ejecting from the suit in an attempt to save herself, the figure didn't so much as scratch. My Metallic holds up much better than my original.

I haven't really collected any Gundam figures even though I've liked the series since my introduction to it. After playing Dynasty Warriors: Gundam recently, I got the itch to buy figures. Granted, I used to have a few of those cheapy snap together model kits a few years back, but those are long gone and broken. I asked my ex-roommate from college what line he collected and was directed to the HCMP and EMSiA. I made a few orders online and will hopefully have a few of my favorites in hand shortly (including 4 figures that I will keep silent about until I actually have them in hand). So, without further adieu, I present the first figure in my Gundam collection, Protoman High Mobility Gelgoog.

The open forearms don't really bother me. There are so much worse design choices that I've seen. I'm glad I bought it. The updated Ravage makes it all the sweeter.

I played for about 6 months before canceling all my MMO accounts. I was spending way too much time on them instead of doing other things or playing other games that I could actually finish. :-)

I'm considering picking up one of the model kits and taking another round of compairison pics, but the girlfriend might disprove of a third red motoslave and Priss combo.

There's a circular black sticker on the top left of the Metallic Version you can see in the compairison photo.

I apologize ahead of time for some of the blurriness. I'm still using my 4 year old Nikon and I was trying to take these without a tripod. The boxes are identical except for the sticker in the upper left of the Metallic Version. As I hope you'll be able to see in these photos, everything has been replaced with metallic paint with the exception of the tires(obviously), bike seat and Cannon handle, which are now matte black. Metallic Version Priss on the left. She seems to be a slightly darker shade of blue and grey compared to the original. One thing I noticed on both Priss and the metallic Motoslave were the tighter joints. Everything felt much more sold in the new figure compaired to the original. While I don't plan on transforming this figure very often, I didn't notice any chipping or wear during the first conversion and it seems that the metallic finish is pretty durable.

Just received the Metallic Version of Priss' Motoslave. Looks really nice. I can put up some comparison pictures if anyone is interested.

Received all four of my Motoslaves from Lost and Found Toys today. While there are some legitimate issues that others have brought up, I am enjoying the figures and, for a fan of the series, think that it was money well spent. Slightly annoying that the metallic version is being released now, but the current gloss paint job doesn't look nearly as bad in person as it does in the photography. A little clear nail polish tightened up some of the loose forearms on the hardsuits but other than that I haven't had any problems.

I just treat the original Takara Screamer as Thundercracker until an official repaint comes around.

I've come to the conclusion that I need a better camera. This 7 year old Nikon isn't cutting it for some of this close up stuff. Anyway, here's Anniversary YF-19 with a friend.

A few hours after I took the picture, the forces of Evil were bolstered by the arrival of Starscream, another Griffon with Aqua Unit, a mercenary Dougram, and a mercenary Soltic. The forces of Good saw only the arrival of Hot Rodimus. The Covenant and Spartan forces were eliminated because they were soft and fleshy. I'll post a replacement picture when the battery is recharged in my camera.
