  1. I think it has been a case of scalpers seeing the prices for previous releases, they are expecting a Roy premium, them jumping in harder than before, and now these scalpers are stuck with inventory.
  2. Yep- my understanding is that SMG is continuing their regular RPG combining Masters(SC)/New Gen(Mospeada) in one book and Sentinels/Shadow Chronicles in another. I haven't seen the SMG covers yet (though I saw real early drafts of some of the interior content). The Savage Worlds supplements are also going the same route, with draft artwork for the Masters/New Gen and Sentinels/Shadow Chronicles books (though hopefully they don't use those fonts for the titles.
  3. It means you don't need one for each mode *and* an extra in the box.
  4. I just love that you referenced it as your "smack dealer".
  5. HLJ must be sick of all the stock people have sitting in their private warehouses, because they sent me this:
  6. I love all Cap's designs- if I didn't suck at modelling I'd end up buying a ton.
  7. I tend to have most packages just left at the door- our porch is a bit away from the street and we have Ring doorbell as well as security cameras (though we call them critter cams because we more often see animals running around the yard instead of people). I do know with most of our services if they attempt they won't usually try again until the next day and after maybe three total attempts you have to come pick it up yourself. But with stuff like Amazon they are just leaving it at your doorstep.
  8. Also, conversation at my house: Daughter: There's a box on the porch. Me: <brings box inside> Wife: It's a mech, isn't it?
  9. Since my other old Matchbox destroids are in my parent's storage somewhere and I saw a good deal, I made sure my Tomahawk wasn't lonely by getting him the rest of the crew (the price was good so I couldn't pass it up).
  10. Yep- it is up for preorder with deposit. https://www.kitzconcept.com/index.php?route=product%2Fproduct&product_id=79 Note: This is for the armor only.
  11. The shoulder was bugging me so much I didn't even look at the box.
  12. The secret we found was that they start with tiny bellies, so they eat and then wake up hungry a few hours later. If you feed them so their stomach expands, they tend to sleep longer.
  13. Welcome aboard! That TT mark you see on there shows that you have a Takatoku i.e., the original toys before TT went out of business and Bandai ended up with the molds and patents. You have Hikaru's VF-1S, which I just went to grab a picture of:
  14. Whoa- congrats! And you'll soon have less sleep than a P.O. night, only every night.
  15. Actual conversation today when I showed my wife the pictures from there: Me: Look what's coming for me in June! Wife: Don't you have that already. Me: NO, those two are the Yamato 1/60. This is a 1/48 DX Chogokin like my Roy and Max. Wife: And don't you have a smaller one too? Me: That's the Hi Metal R! And that one doesn't come with a fan racer.
  16. Air packet has opened up to the US with some vendors (though with HLJ there was like a dollar difference from DHL so there was no point to pay a dollar less and have it arrive weeks later). EMS still seems unavailable.
  17. My mind says "YES YES YES!" but my wallet says "Ummmm, well, sure. YES YES YES!"
  18. And click through the links to BBTS to give you a tiny payment for all your reviews.
  19. Excellent. Here is one at The Jungle for ¥ 8,250. Shipping is a bit of an extra cost due to Japane Post not being available, but if you look around you can usually grab a coupole things that make the DHL cost worth it. https://jungle-scs.co.jp/sale_en/products/detail/584147

    @Special Sauce Here's the thread!
  21. There is a whole thread below on the HMRs, but some quick notes on them: 1. The scale is roughly 1/90ish, so it will be smaller than likely many of the toys you've seen. That said, it is nice to have a set of toys in the same rough scale, including valks, destroids, and enemies. 2. The destroids and enemy mechs are the star of this show. The Monster is absolutely amazing, a solid and HUGE toy that is fun to play with. The Defender and Spartan are both nicely detailed toys. The Glaug and Regults are all beautifully sculpted and also a lot of fun. Unfortunately while we've been shown the Tomahawk, Phalanx, and Nos J, none of these have been released yet (languishing for a few years now). 3. The VF-1s are not perfect transformation, though this isn't a huge issue given their small size. You have to swap out the cockpit/heatshield and the landing gear are not integral, so using them requires popping out covers and replacing them with landing gear. That said, outside of swapping the cockpit out, the transformation is fairly easy and smooth, with lots of little pegs to hold things tightly if you get them all in. 4. They are addictive. I held off on getting into "one more scale" (having 1/48, 1/55, and 1/60 already). The Monster, not being available in a lot of toys, convinced me to give it a shot. I loved it, so I said "I'll get the other two destroids to go with it." And then I needed a Glaug. And a Regult. And the missile Regult set. And finally I said "I'll get that Messer Memorial vlak since it is a unique paint scheme I don't have otherwise." And now?
  22. I still am grabbing some of their 1/48 inbit scouts though. Once those FINALLY get done.
  23. It's still there- you have to scroll down on the main page to see it. https://www.meptoys.com/ It is still preorders, though, so you just get sent to an email link.
