Yeah. If your computer has a DVD drive and you already have a DVD player, why go out and buy a console with one built-in? Anyways, you can count on the PS2 dropping to 99 bucks before the Xbox. And the PS2s don't support Progressive Scan mode for movies, only select games.

Special Editions are better! I don't want to have a plain ol' boring Sarlacc Pit from the original! I want one that's a real menace to the characters. And I prefer the digitally enhanced sound and visual effects instead of the originals. Do you really want to see black mat lines during the Battle of Hoth? I don't. I grew up mostly on the Special Editions. But I've seen the originals, and I prefer the SEs. And what novels are you talking about Gobot? Because I sure hope you aren't dissing on the X-Wing and New Jedi Order series!

Hey Ladic! It's me! USMC Hornet Pilot from Robotech.com! PS2 to $99? Well, maybe when the PS3 is about to be released. And then the price will steadily drop to 50 bucks maybe. But perhaps the brass at Sony realized how well Nintendo did after the price drop. But PS2 needs to have some damn good new software to come out for the price drop to truly be successful. The price drop should be synced with the release of...oh I don't know...SOCOM 2 or MGS 3 Snake Eater or GT4.

I like almost all kinds of music. I can handle limited amounts of modern rock. I like rock from the 80s, now that kind truly rocked. I like the Hip-Hop flavor mostly. I like J-Rock and J-Pop, well...only because I heard massive amounts of it in Macross 7. I really like all sorts of instrumentals, like the music from Gladiator or Saving Private Ryan or K-19.

Here's a question that I've been trying to answer myself: What are those things that Isamu and Guld eject from their Valkyries in Battroid mode before going back into fighter mode during their battle on Earth against each other?

Oh yeah. I also got the Rogue Squadron 3 demo disc! It's cool. The hit effect is different now. It's a blue-white spark when you shoot something with the lasers. The ships you escort or attack show battle damage now. Above Hoth when you have to defend the transports the TIE Bombers launch missiles at them. And as they take more damage you see them begin to trail smoke and spew fire out. Pretty cool. B) And there's some TIEs that go out on their own to try and take you out. And I think a TIE Bomber tried to go after me too. B) The sweet balls of fire that the TIEs become look a little better. You see vapor trail on the tips of the S-foils when you close them in atmosphere. Hopefully you don't get vapor trail in space unless you're in a nebula. And the movie clips! OH!! It's Star Wars all over again! The camera angles when walking on the ground are good even though some say the angles make it hard for them to play. Blasting the Snow Troopers was cool too, and when you're on the Tauntaun you can trample them to death! The game still needs some polish, when I got towards the defensive line on the Tauntaun the game began to slow down, I think it was because all these guns fired at once at an AT-ST that was advancing and at the same time a AT-AT tipped over. But it's cool! And the Atari game isn't bad either, pretty difficult!

No, there's another called Unifying Force, it's not out yet. And on the Force Heritics it said that the series would end in November. But things are heating up. The Final Prophecy is kinda thin. Tahiri makes some discoveries about herself and her future, Nen Yim discovers something incredible, and Wedge comes back! Yay!

The VF-11C was the first Macross model I've built so far. The paint job is customized. I gave it a Hikaru TV/Movie look B) . And the overall paintjob is okay, I've yet to master my skills with the brush. I want an airbrush but they cost a lot. The next two I'm going to buy will be a Queadluun-Rau and the Nousjadel-Ger. And maybe the VF-19 Fire Valkyrie.

I got the new New Jedi Order book! The Final Prophecy seems good so far. Has anyone finished reading it?

Uh...hardwarewise? Um...it's not that superior to the Gamecube in terms of hardware...it's been proven that the GCN's 400mhz processor is equivalent to an Intel Celeron 1.7ghz processor! And it doesn't run DDR RAM so its load times are really short or virtually non-existent. And Abombz said that the GCN supports more layers than the PS2 or Xbox. One reason why Rogue Squadron 2 and 3 look fantastic.

I think he had a thing for Tenel Ka, but I guess she wasn't his type in the end. They're just friends and she's gone, she's ruling her planet. Her grandma's a bitch. But Abombz, that only applies to little kids. It's easy for teens to get M-rated games. I don't have many since I don't need blood and gore to get my kicks. Shooting Nazis that don't bleed is a big enough kick for me. B) But I've seen the M-rated logo being abused of, I have Ghost Recon and it's rated M on the basis that the game has "Blood and Gore Violence." That's crap! The neo-Commies are still in one piece when I blow them away with a fat 30mm grenade! And they don't get dismembered when you shoot at them with a .50 caliber machine gun or sniper rifle. It's just violent with puddles of blood! Damn conservatives! I like that line that Vin Diesle says in XxX at the opening chase. something about games being the only education that kids have. And it's sorta true, Medal of Honor filled me in on some of the stuff I didn't want to read up in the history books. B) I love edutainment!

Strong defense...and strong offense...brings back memories of the previous Super Bowl. The Buccaneers had a strong defensive line up while the Raiders had a stong offense...but the Buccaneers won! So I think that one side was strong offensively while the other side was strong defensively wouldn't really mean anything, Abombz. It's all about the Zentran meeting humans and being surprised to see the men intermingling with the women. But that was limited to one ship and to Bodolza. I liked how Bodolza dies, Minmay extends her hand and Hikaru comes into view and blows him away. B)

For me, all I want my consoles to do is just play games. Get back to the basics of gaming. And PS2 isn't that complex, it's backwards compatible but it's not able to save older game files. That's wack, what's the fun of playing Mega Man 8 and Mega Man X4, 5, and 6 if you can't save afterwards? <_
