Yeah, it's a Hase kit, I forgot to say that. Well I know that you can get a weapons kit, but I thought that some of these kits came with the Super and Strike Packs, and missiles like the VF-0 comes with its FAST Packs. If I'm under a rock, it's because I've never built a 1/72 Valk, just those tiny 1/144s from Macross 7. And on the kit's instructions, it doesn't quite say that you can bore out the holes to place pylons on them.

I bought my first 1/72 Valk kit with some spare money from prom, and it's nice. It's a VF-1S from DYRL? with Roy's, Max's, and Hikaru's decal options. The only bad thing about it is that it doesn't come with Strike packs and no munitions, save for the gunpod. Does anybody know if I can kit bash with it? the underside of the wings don't have any hardpoints from the looks of it.

I think that the whales made some sort of a "fold lane." A wormhole of sorts I guess.

The VF-19P turning red isn't a magical thing. When the poachers nuke the main space whale, it splatters blood all over the VF-19P in battroid mode, which is why parts of it are still colored white in fighter mode. It's friggin magic man! Blood, okay, but when the hand moves up to the "face" and then it drops away, you see green "eyes" similar to the VF-19Kai. You can see the VF-19 whiping part of the blood from the visor with it finger leaving two parts "eyes" clear I gotta watch that part again then....

Well, the Zolan patrol uses VF-5000 Star Mirages and Basara uses a VT-1C and later a VF-19P that magically turns into his VF-19Kai after taking a nuke blast. The poachers use VBA-6s I think.

I like the Strike Valk. Props to you man, I can't draw a decent looking Valk.

That's cute! I have a thing for those SDs! Especially the transforming ones! And that's not a VF-19A, it's YF-19 from the looks of it.

I assume that the YF-21/VF-22's gunpod(s) have a bulpup design(caseless ammo), and a huge bulpup gattling gun is still in the works I guess. But modern jets keep the shells because then there will be much more weight in the rear of the plane without them than if the shells were kept. That's what I gather.

I just want to find a store in my area that has it!!!

Hmm, I though you'd have built this kit, David. What attracted me most to the kit was the real purdy illustration and the fact that I love the MiG-29. Besides the Sniper, what other MiG-29 variants did Hasegawa release?? I'm trying to find a store with a 1/48 MiG-29, shoot, I'll paint the Anti-UN symbol on it if I have to. Hmm....when should I start on my new 1/48 Tomcat....I'm afraid of wrecking it. The store where I get my model kits now only has American aircraft and is mostly packed with Testors paint and brushes.

I'm pretty sure the one in Macross Zero is the A version. The Hasegawa kit with the Anti-UN decals is a MiG-29A.
