You can always settle for those 1/144 critters that Bandai makes. I finsihed my VF-17S a few weeks ago and it looks awesome. Although it's hard to pose with that big ass gunpod it has.

Perhaps the SV-51s are buoyant like the VF-0 and VF-1, but not completely submersible like the VF-0 and VF-1. So the pilot sets the fighter down in the water, and maybe some sort of extender arm latches on, lifts them out of the water, then the pilot puts it back into fighter mode(engines off) and folds the wings up and then it's placed at a veritcal angle stored inside.

Yeah, Isamu did mop the floor with those pesky renegades, and then in 7 the pesky Varauta mopped the floor with the VF-11s.

Bandai's of course. They're the only ones that make the VF-17 and VF-19 toys in 1/65.

PM me after you get the valk, I'm more interested in the store, do they carry other stuff besides Macross? (almost undoubtedly ) Oh yeah! Plenty of non-Macross stuff too, one of the cool finds there that relate to Macross are some of the artbooks there, Kawamori's designs for the Valkyries and stuff. This name might sound dumb, but it's called "Anime Store". They sell manga, soundtracks, and what's cool is that the DVDs are split up between bilingual and English dubs only. I got my Macross II from there after graduating, but I didn't keep it after watching it once.

Yay! My local department store also has a 1/48 VF-1S and it has several other Valks, and nicely priced VF-19A from Macross VF-X and the Fire Valk. The 1/60 Super Ostrich, Elintseeker, and Chunk Monkies as well as the MPCs. But the prices for the 1/48 aren't really good, as well as the 1/60 VF-1S, and then there's the rip off, first edition of the VF-11 priced just above 100 bucks.

Man, that's awesome, the VF-11 is my favorite Valkyrie.

The panel was neat, what I really liked at the end, besides meeting some of the MWers, was actually watching footage from the PS2 Macross game. Now I want it very, very badly!!!!

I was there at AX in the Robotech panel, and I was face-to-face with Tom Bateman and he said that they'll do a movie first and then the TV series.

I went to AX today, and apparently, Harmony Gold may just release Macross DYRL?, I asked Tom Bateman if they would do English dubs, and he said yes and that he'd like Dan Woren to do Roy's voice. I got the impression that there will be a dubbed DYRL? carrying the title of "Robotech."

I don't have the original SDF Macross yet, well I do, but it's in the form of Robotech.

Sadly my digicamcorder/camera is in Europe with my sister, but basically it's the plastic part(a joint I think) that connects to the diecast.
