  1. Hey, they got that movie playing over here right now I believe, maybe I should go watch, although I don't understand Japanese.
  2. Okay, I read almost 14 pages of an interesting thread. Wow. MGREXX...wow, so blind. Anyways, I picked "More than one" or whatever that choice was. Me, I started with Nintendo and I might end with Nintendo. I am pretty open, the only reason I'd see getting an Xbox 360 is for Halo 3, but Xbox has nothing to offer me unlike Nintendo and Sony with their machines. Gamecube has offered me Rogue Squadron 2 and 3 and it started with Rogue Squadron 1 on the N64 which I loved. N64 also had Smash Bros., Star Wars Shadows of the Empire, Diddy Kong Racing, Golden Eye, Aero Fighters Assault(not that great but challenging, good enemy aircraft AI), Star Fox and a few other games that slip my mind. Gamecube continued with Smash Bros Melee, and Rogue Squadron 2 and 3, and some damn good shooters and the Gamecube is the one console from Nintendo that finally let me beat a Zelda game in the form of Wind Waker which was awesome. PS2 is good too, I own 2, an American, old school one and a Japanese Thin for Japanese games since I'm in Japan and game stores are up the ass here in Yokosuka. PS2 offered me MGS2 which made me wanna get a PS2 after playing it, MGS2 was my first Metal Gear game, and it had Ace Combat(which Gamecube lacked) and some bad ass shooters to go with it. Both offer quality soccer games so that's not a problem, I'm having fun with Fifa Street. Now, I will go with the PS3 mostly for Metal Gear Solid, and I hope an Ace Combat 6 and for Gundam games and whatever shooters make their way onto it. As for the Revolution, it will work with all my Gamecube games which are back home, and you will have the ability to download every NES, SNES and N64 game ever released in the US. The fact that I might be able to play Golden Eye or Star Wars Shadows of the Empire on the Revolution gets me pumped up, I would like to see remakes of those for sure. What I also hope for is that Factor 5 will provide us Nintendo gamers and Star Wars fans with a Rogue Squadron 4 because I feel that Rogue Squadron 3 flopped in a few areas, and maybe have it extend beyond the movies and into the X-Wing series novels. It'd also be great if Revolution got an air combat game with the same quality as Ace Combat 4 and 5 and I hope RE5 makes it to the Revolution. I care about graphics and I was impressed with the Gamecube when it had a company like Factor 5 pushing the limits of the machine to produce a game that runs incredibly smooth that brims with details(Rogue Squadron 2 and 3). The new Zelda on the Gamecube looks awesome and I don't see why so many people say Nintendo can't have good looking graphics when it's the exact opposite. I think people are also narrowminded in the sense that Nintendo is all for kids. Super Smash Bros. may seem like it's for little kids, but EVERYBODY plays it because the game is so damn fun, hell Pokemon was fun and I often found myself jacking my little brother's Gameboy Color with Pokemon Gold in it and taking it to school(9th grade) to play because it was time consuming and fun. Price also matters so if anything, I'll see myself getting the Revolution before the PS3. Anyways, those are my views/opinions, but in the end, I think I'm more of a diehard Nintendo fan than a Sony fan simply because of the way I was brought up. Hell, I predicted a Nintendo Ultra when I was a kid in the days of the SNES, low and behold, the N64 came out a few years later and was called "Nintendo Ultra 64" or something to that effect and I worked my ass off in the 6th grade for an N64. Games were expensive, but that's why you wait for the prices to drop, like 40 bucks for Star Wars and Golden Eye.
  3. Sweet, thanks for the info on the Gundam SEED game, I've been eyeing it down here in Yokosuka and I'm sure it'll be worth my hard earned money come next Wednesday.
  4. Man, you guys should take a look at the Japanese cell phones right now. I got one since I'm gonna be over here for a while and WOW, it got me all mad seeing how much I paid for my Motorola V551 when it is severely underpowered when compared to my SO506iC. You can put in Sony memory sticks to store very, very good camera shots, video or MP3s as well as games. This thing is poo-hot and I didn't have to pay much money for it. Man Japan rocks a lot more since I'm over here now.
  5. Over here in the U.S. us Catholics call it the "yeah right in white... " LOL! You got that straight!
  6. Ah, good stuff guys! I've been missin' bake_art!
  7. A porn star, if Google is any indication. Porn star for sure.

  11. I really like the Valkyrie Inside shirt. I really want one but I don't even know when you guys will decide on a design and produce them.
  12. DVDs cracking? Eh, I'm gonna be earning a lot of money very shortly no worries.
  13. Hey Solscud, can I ask you a favor man? I won't be attending because I'll be in Yokosuka aboard the CV-63, so can I send you one of my Dixie Cups (Sailor hat) and have Mari autograph it for me please? I'll help with the shipping and handling when you mail it back to my home here.
  14. You tell me, after being in bootcamp, it's like it's a brand new thing.
  15. Hmm...well, now I'm at NATTC Pensacola, just chilling on Liberty. I bought myself a Nintendo DS recently and a few GBA games, and this thing is P-I-M-P!!! The MWR rocks but it's not fully operational because of the hurricanc that smashed the place, the school house I have to learn my stuff in is still under repairs. Anyways...about money...ahem...now I'm down to 43 bucks... Well, next Friday I get paid again so....mo' money!
  16. For me, it was Macross Plus...oooh...ahhh....that's the first thing I watched when I left the base with my family on graduation.
  17. Hey guys. Hehehe, I know about some of the tricks, I'm especially wary about the "Go paint the centerline." The instructors told us about some pranks. Well, my liberty ends in about two hours and over these 4 days of liberty I have spent nearly 600 dollars. I look forward to building kits again, but I don't think it's any time soon. The one place I really want to go overseas is Japan. Right now I'm thinking about how I should sneak some manga back into the barracks, hopefully the OOD isn't around or just tells us to lift our pant legs. Either way, I'm gonna get it in damn it. I tried to sneak some sleezy porno pics in by sticking them in my feet, but I forgot that my feet sweat and the pictures were ruined. Well, my laptop will be on hold thanks to my financial situation although we got a 3% raise on the 1st and I get paid again on the 15th and I'm gonna work on getting a PS2 thin. Well, I'll get in touch with you guys later on.
  18. Back in the 3rd of November 2004 I left you all for Basic at RTC Great Lakes up here in sunny Illinois. Well, I'm pleased to say that I have graduated last Thursday and we have 4 days of Liberty which kicks ass. I spent lots of money on games and DVDs for my little brother to take back home with him, which he should be home already playing MGS 3, Ace Combat 5 and watching the recent volumes of Gundam SEED and the first Inuyasha movie that I bought him for Christmas. Right now I'm waiting for my orders to go to Pensacola to train to become and AO for 4 weeks. Well, I'll catch you guys later. Oh it feels so good even though my family had to leave and I had to report in early last night and leave my family 4 hours early.
  19. Well, my shipdate is today at 1PM so I'm going to be gone for quite a while everbody. I'm in the USN. My job as of now is AO but I might have it changed, but if I don't, I'll see if I can provide you all with some nice pics of the planes. Hopefully when I get back, bake_art will have returned with new Valk Girls, AgentOne will have learned to love Macross 7(like that'll ever happen! ). Keith and AgentOne will act real friendly-like which all goes back to no more Macross 7 bashing. I expect there to be a sub of Macross Zero's finale and plans for a movie edition. And then, of course, kick ass toy customs, and the Yammie VF-0 delayed so it can be upped in scale while the YF-19FP mold is completed and confirmed. I enjoyed posting here many times and learning a new thing now and then from the super aircraft otaku like David Hingtgen. Well, of all the things I'll be missing, I don't know what I'll miss more, Macross, or this site all together. Well, I hope to talk to you all in a few months. Peace out. Seaman Recruit Pablo Paredes
  20. LOL! Man, last Friday the satellite went out for a while...and with this coming to light....one has to be suspicsious... And space doesn't belong to nobody? Last time I checked the US was in command of space, we already conquered the moon! Mar's is next. We will take it from the Martians and call it Manifest Destiny!
  21. Well, today I was looking at www.animesuki.com for fansubs of Macross Zero's finale and I stumbled across the first episode of Viewtiful Joe. The subs make sense, Nyu Blue is the fansubbing group. Now, this series stays true to the game in its artform and follows the game's intro. The music is awesome and the anime felt so much like the game that it was a good show. 52 episodes are planned and so far the only new character introduced is called "Boss" she has a tight outfit that shows her clevage and when she zips it back up the zipper comes back down. I'm sure all of us are familiar with the videogame so I'm going to skimp on the beginning of the series starting with the game. However, when Joe gets to Movie Land it is WAY different from the game, in the game you're thrown into a jungle or something and fight Yankees(the "cannon fodders" of the game) and then a Joker(guy with a sword and does all sorts of things. Usually a mid-stage challenge. Well, Joe is thrown into a city rather than some forest and the city is in ruins from Captain Blue's fight with him using the Six Machine against Hulk Davidson. Silvia was carried off by Hulk Davidson rather than the giant robot/creature grabbing her and making off with her. From then on, Joe faces Yankees and the Joker who then kicks his ass and then he meets Captain Blue and he tells him why he can't fight evil and blames his defeat on his physical shape. Well, Joe gets the V-Watch and says "Henshin A Go-Go Baby!" and then he goes back to the movie and fights a few Yankees and wards off the Joker who while retreating calls Joe "Ass-Fallen-Joe" after he tripped over a Yankee going after him. So far, I like what I'm seeing. I give it an A. The music rocks, the animation is great and it's entertaining all the way though. Here's the link: http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/492.html Enjoy.
  22. More firepower. FAST Packs aren't a new concept in Macross Zero and SDF Macross and beyond because F-15Cs use them and F-15Es mount conformal fuel tanks which enable a larger load of munitions.
