After floating in space all those years and being constantly bombarded by solar rays, Guld was reanimated and returned as a zombie. And as anyone knows, zombie pilots always get the best planes.

I'm not a fan because of my broken VF-171 that I have never, and now cannot ever transform. The addon-parts could have been the perfect opportunity to offer some replacement triangles as they had to have known about the plastic issues by that point. But they basically said "too bad" and left consumers out in the cold with an inferior non-transforming transforming figure. It seems that when companies get too big and too powerful, it's cheaper to lose customers over bad products then try to fix bad products in order to keep the customers.

The reviewer should have also talked about their favorite candy. Everyone likes candy right?
-
Honest for whom? You, or the person who is actually doing the review?

Awesome! Thanks!

I love the new design, but honesty I would prefer the more basic standalone arm that attaches to the Bandai frontier stands (like the one below). Is this something you might have up for sale at some point? Thanks!

Tamashii Online Exclusive DX Chogokin Tornado Parts for VF25F/G
Rabidweezil replied to IXTL's topic in Toys
That's good that it's not like that in the Battroid pic. Looking at the parts layout photo for Michael version shows it's wrong there too. But they could have actually used the same part for both photo shoots. Hopefully. Didn't the Ver 1 Tornado have an SMS stamp placed upside down on one side?- 761 replies

Tamashii Online Exclusive DX Chogokin Tornado Parts for VF25F/G
Rabidweezil replied to IXTL's topic in Toys
Unless I am mistaking, I think they printed the SMS on the leg armor upside down again. Check out the circled section. If it was attached to the leg and the little nubs were pointing up, from left to right it would say SWS. They need to rotate the stamp 180 degrees for it to be right.- 761 replies

They even pulled out the Max TV VF-1A that will probably never see the light of day. Toynami boggles my mind with all the things they come up with and show off at various toy fairs, yet never actually release. "Toynami, making vaporware since the year 2000"

Does it actually say it's transformable? Maybe it's just two SDF's stuck in the different modes.

Arcadia Wonder Festival 2014 (Winter) special item
Rabidweezil replied to Dark_Ghost's topic in Toys
WF items are pretty much impossible to get for those that don't actually attend the event (even then it's still a challenge to obtain one). Honestly this thread title had me a little worried until I actually saw what the item was. So for those of you that are upset it's not something cooler, don't be. You probably wouldn't have been able to get it anyway. -
Arcadia Wonder Festival 2014 (Winter) special item

Nice! Something that I have totally no interest in. I actually prefer it that way as opposed to something very limited and very expensive that I must have. -
HLJ seems to be late putting up issue #54 for preorder. I'm sure they have their reasons, but I really wish they would put more then one issue up for preorder at a time.

They probably mistakenly decided to hold out for the FB2012 version many hoped (and speculated) would come at some point.

Mine is in LA too, which is unfortunate. My last shipment of super-parts arrived in LA via SAL November 30th and didn't hit my town in Southern Oregon until December 12th. Now, that was before Christmas so maybe after things will move a long a bit faster.

This is sad news indeed. I think I sold some stuff to him once. Be at peace MacrossMan.

Tracking said LA customs (which is odd because, like you said, everything usually goes through San Francisco) And I'm only in southern Oregon. So I usually get packages within a day or two after clearing customs. We've had some crappy weather out here. I suspect that's the cause for the delay. But it's weird 6 days have gone by without tracking being updated.

Ugh, both my G and RVF super-parts have been inbound out of US customs since Dec 4th. No tracking updates since then

There are a few small differences, but the main one is the heads are different. DYRL on top. SDFM on the bottom.
