  1. and finally #6 My Custom DYRL VF-1J Skull 010
  2. I got a new camera and to test it out I took some real quick shots of some of my Valks. #1 Kakizaki
  3. Thanks for the heads up >EXO<, I PM'd Rohby asking. Just incase he doesn't have any to offer if anyone does please let me know. Thanks
  4. Ok, I know this is a tall order, but does anyone have a spare 1/48 heatshield? Any color will do. Thanks! PS one of the tabs from the heatshield on a custom broke that's why I'm in need at the moment.
  5. Tim Roth as Archibald Cunningham in "Rob Roy". Maybe not the worst villian, but he certainly made me dislike him
  6. Petition for a SOC Macross? Highly doubt it work though...but maybe worth a shot at least.
  7. Yeah, I'd love a Bandai SOC Macross ship. But for some reason Macross doesn't seem to get any love from Bandai. I mean, even Dunbine has a MG kit, several HG's and 2 MSIA type action figures. But Bandai only seems interested in releasing old stuff, (and didn't even release the 3 most wanted 1/55's in the process) for Macross and can't even put out a nice rendition of the vessel that "Macross" is named after. Yep, a SOC SDF would be the coolest thing, either version...however I just don't think Bandai is interested. Unless, somehow a cameo of the ship ends up in the next Gundam series...
  8. Yeah the landing gear was always spring-loaded. I remember because I use to have the Hikaru Strike where you had to unscrew the canopy/heatshield to replace it. and the screw for it was what held the front landing gear spring in place.. damn if that thing wasn't a pain in the ass to get the screw back through the hole in the spring and back where it belonged...
  9. They all had the same head. It has the 1J visor but the 1S lasers. hey a new valk type! perhaps we'll se a 1R'ish toy of it. Wouldn't that be neato?
  10. hmmm...1/60 Monster is still coming? MUCH more profitable and sensable toy to release then saaayyy....ANYTHING ELSE! (<---sarcasm) Especially a 1/48 Cannon fodder...was really hoping for one of those. guess not though...
  11. Just out of curiosity, I placed my order at 8:00AM (Pacific) on the 17th. Did you order before that? Again, just curious. Not going to start sh*t with them. Thanks! H well I don't know what the exact time was...but I live in the same time zone as you and I had to be to work at 8am and I placed the order from home. So between 7 and 7:30 I'd say.
  12. well I am getting SOMETHING shipped to me from them..hopefully it's what I ordered. And it will most likely be dusty if it is...
  13. I guess I'll find out $160 shipped..not to shabby. Thanks for the heads up on Anubis
  14. yeah, same thing happening here...right now she is totally on the ground and Mao is leaning over looking at her. I'm about to cut off the foot pegs and use the regular white stand.
  15. Wow..you're lucky they didn't open it up and notice all the missiles

Just a question that may have been answered before.. Does the VF-1J that comes in the set use the newer collapsible gunpod or the old non-collapsible style? Thanks James
  18. Well I use the pen and then wipe off with my nice clean finger where I just lined. Takes away any excess and keeps it limited to the line itself. Sometimes they are a bit more stubborn though. Or else when you are say panel lining and suddenly a bird hits the front window causing you to go "Ahhh" and sending the paint pen across the whole piece of the Valk.. Well for unfortunate occurances like that I use a clean eraser to get rid of thoses stubborn stains (an eraser works well also to get rid of paint mess-ups that occur directly on the plastic, meaning this won't work if you painted the whole valk, just detailed on the plastic. Toothpick does the trick also) Hope that helps in some way
  19. I pannel all my valks with Grey gundam markers. Looks a lot better IMO. The only thing is that the grey pen tips frey after a few uses. Seems to be only an issue with that color. This is the best pic I have showing the panel lines
  20. Haterist How did you take your 1/48 apart like that I like to do some repairs to the rubber ball socket in the let leg joint because it's trying to slip out. Actually fixing the leg rubber ball joint thingie is real easy. The part that attaches to the leg pulls out and has a screw in it. No disassembly of the leg needed really. Where the ball joint piece goes into the leg intake, all you need to do is pry is out a bit with a small screwdriver or something. When I got my second 1S the rubber was all over the place on both sides. I did some poking around and was relieved how simple it was to fix.
  21. It's actually grey...my camera sucks
