    Yamato Toy TV

It looks like it's just his pinky nails. Isn't that a coke thing?
  2. Ah...makes perfect sense I don't see it in other pics though. Maybe it's an exclusive?
  3. What's with the toothpick?
  4. I was going to do the same. It says it's a complete set in their description The Super Deformed Macross Mecha Figures from the Macross Frontier Ichiban Kuji Premium is now available for ordering as a set. This set will include all five of the figures. The five mecha in the set will consist of VF-25 Alto Ver., VF-25S Full Armored Ver., VF-27 Luficer, and two different colored Queadluun-Rea.
  5. An eraser . Rub it on the carpet a few times to keep it clean.
  6. They are actually from some Anasazi 1/60 1.0 decals that I never used. I actually panel line them twice, then wash. First with a pencil to find the lines, then with a gundam marker. I tried it without doing that first on the VF-1D, but they didn't look as good. So I went back over them with a gundam marker.
  7. Finished weathering and stickering my Hikaru 1A and Focker 1S. I'll post some without Fast-Packs and transformed pics tomorrow
  8. Thanks again everyone I'm happy the way they turned out. Which is good since I put many, many hours into doing them up this way. I spent at least 8 hours alone just stickering the 1D and 1J last night (Takatoys stickers so they need to be cut out). Not to mention all the weathering and some minor painting. I tried some different lighting and took some more pics of the Hikaru 1J. I left the pics a bit bigger so the details can be seen a little more clearly. EDIT: Forgot to add. As far as the weathering coming off. I have noticed it does a little. Not enough to cause any concern though. But it can just be re-touched up where necessary. I'm actually more concerned about the stickers, so the most I'm handling these is for the pics. After they are done with their photoshoot, it's off to the display case!
  9. Thanks for the kind replies I know it looks a bit rugged and not so trainer like. But Hikaru did plow through a building with it. I didn't make it as "gritty" as the other Valks I weathered simply because of how little action it saw. I took a few quick shots of the others. As I mentioned the 1J is the only one totally complete. The other 3 have yet to be stickered. MacrossMan, I weathered it with Promodellers wash and a lot or controlled removal and even used an eraser to blend it. Unfortunatly I don't have any good places to take pictures under natural lighting conditions in my house. So under the lamps, you really can't see the details like you can in person. I'll try to find a way to get some better pictures.
  10. I've been working on weathering, stickering and detailing all of the 1-60 V2's (it takes a while ). So far I've completely finished the 1D and the 1J. Here are pics of the D.
  11. Are any of the Macross Frontier character sets that have been released so far around the same scale as the Macross CMS characters?
  12. VF-1S. Can't remember the name of the ep, but it was the one where Misa was going to earth in the shuttle.
  13. Yeah, that's what I used. I'm more a fan of the gritty war machines then the "just off the assembly line" look
  14. Fun with weathering
  15. I'd buy one. I'd also like it more white like the VF-1J is possible. But that might just be a personal preference.
  16. Bleah. Blue Heat Shield on the Max. Now I have to get a black one for my Hikaru 1S AND the Max 1S. I guess no one at Yamato actually watched DYRL where Max's 1S was never shown with a blue heat shield
  17. I know Hikaru's 1S was shown with a Red Shield. But since Roy's was black, and Max's is black. In my little world it stands to reason that the VF-1S has a black shield all the way around. Besides, it separates it from the colored shield of the 1A. Never noticed the 011 on the wing though. Good catch
  18. I wonder what color heatshield it's going to have. It was shown in DYRL with a Black shield. But they will probably release it in blue. I prefer the Black on the 1S's. I'm going to have to find someone to trade my Hikaru Red shield for a black one...and possibly do the same for Max.
  19. While I agree that spending money on a legal battle with HG over this issue would be an waste of money, I don't think it's fair to say that the issue isn't important. Even thought to you, or me, or 99.99999% percent of people in the country believe the issue to be petty. That doesn't mean to someone it can't be important. Let's say you are putting your energy into saving a pair of endangered owls that are living in a tree that's supposed to be cut down. To someone that's putting their energy into saving the rain forests -home to thousands of species that are endangered - a pair of owls are not important in "the grand scheme of things" So if we are only supposed to take on fights that are important...who is to judge the level of importance? If you keep going up the ladder, the cause above all other causes would be saving the planet as a whole. Everything below that could be considered petty. Including the rain forest, or the owls. I think whatever cause a person takes on should be left up to the individual. Whether it be challenging whaling boats or toy companies, it's their time, it's their energy. Who am I to tell them what needs to be done with their life.
  20. From what I remember from the 2002 incident. Spidey's lawyer had asked HG to cough up their license agreement and they refused. So how can they enforce ownership of Macross properties without proving it legally?
  21. I wonder if that's why Lost and Found toys hasn't added any of the new Yamato Pre-Orders to their site. I emailed Carlos a few weeks asking him if he was planning on getting any in and I didn't get a response. I still find it amazing that HG still has reign over a license they have never had to renew. It seriously boggles my mind. Regardless...there are plenty of online Japanese places that will still sell Yamato products to the US. So it looks like they will be getting my business. Way to go HG. The economy is hurting and you are blocking US sellers out of a product they could make a little money off. Macross fans will find a way though. So this tactic will prove to be pretty useless in the end. I was thinking of ordering the Beta fighter. But since I'll have to pay a little more on shipping from Japan now for Yamato products, that just cut into my Toynami fund. Darn
  22. We all know who to thank for that
  23. There is a whole thread about the 1/48 Max here: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=26675
