I'm missing: RVF-25 Super Luka VF-25F Full Armor Alto VF-25F Super Fold Alto Still missing the YF-21 from series 2 also Got a lot of doubles and triples of others from series 3 and a few from 2 if anyone wants to trade for these! EDIT: added some clarity

Just messin with my camera a bit

I got 2 boxes of series 3. I ended up the pink Deculture secret, 8 duplicates (including 2 VF-4's) and 5 shy of a complete set.

I got my 11C a while ago but didn't transform it. After reading the leg problems I gave it a go and the leg pulled off. Not fell off, but pulled off pretty easily. That didn't happen with the 11B. So how does a companies QC go backwards?

I live in Oregon USA. I don't know if anyone here even knows what Macross is. To complete series 2 I still need: YF-21 VF-25 Tornado pack VF-1A Angel Birds If anyone has any of these please let me know! I have some dups I can trade. Right now I'm at work though and can't remember what they are.

I ordered 2 boxes of Series 3. I'm still missing 3 from series 2 after buying 2 boxes. I haven't gotten any of series one yet. I really like these things but I can't get over how sucky it is to have to buy mutiple boxes to get a full set. BANDAI! YOU SHOULD GET A FULL SET WHEN YOU BUY A BOX! MINUS THE SECRET OF COURSE. DON'T YOU KNOW THAT'S TRADING FIGURE PROTOCOL!

That's the 1/48 GBP, which is being re-released as well.

Graham, I know I'm late to the party here and this might have been covered so apologies if it was. I don't have any broken hinges yet, but I do have ALL the Valks with the bad pins. Just because they haven't broken yet doesn't mean they won't. Bad hinge is bad hinge. Will there be an opportunity to pick up some hinges at a later date for some preventative maintanance just in case? Or is this a snooze you loose type situation? Thanks!

When the E-Wing and Defender were released I actually got super lucky and happened to find them at Wal-Mart brand spankin new. I was collecting Action Fleet at the time so I opened them as usual and put them on my shelf with all the others. I wish I would have kept them sealed though. Even loose, they are in good shape. I'll most likely sell those with the rest of my SW stuff.

That's what I'm afraid of..... I'll just save my money, hold off and hope for an improved DX VF-25. -

Got my VF-27 last week. It's my first Macross DX. I held off on buying the others because of the large amount of complaints. But now I'm wanting to catch them all! I think I'd be disappointed though. I'm really hoping for 2.0 releases, but I know that will only happen if I spend a lot of money on the sub-par 1.0's first. -
Oh man...I was on the list to buy one of those JM 2.0's back in the day. But only a few were actually made and I gots none of 'dem. Thanks for bringing up a sad memory there Exo

Wow. I feel so silly for thinking HG couldn't be more villian then they already are. Way to go. Nothing says luvin like adding to the death of your own fanbase.

"Robotech Creative Team" Now there's a contradiction in terms But seriously...I imagine that would be a pretty easy gig. You meet once a decade and talk about sports

Since the VF's in this line do not transform, I'd guess the Monster will not either. Hopefully I'm wrong though

Well I must have just gotten a bad VF-22 Millia then. I tried some more to get it to stand in Gerwalk mode and no luck at all. The ratchet joints just won't hold the weight. Either in the ankle or the knee. And the right leg barely stays on. I have used as much force as I dare to get it to stay. A slight twist and the whole thing comes off again. I finally managed to get it to stand in Battroid mode. It's leaning against the back of the case in a very basic pose. I haven't messed with the Max 22 yet. I'm kind of avoiding it I guess after the trouble the Millia has given me.

Actually, I've mentioned before on here that my Yamato's are display pieces and not toys. Fragile is one thing, but I'm talking about design flaws. And with the YF-21/VF-22 there is not one mode that is stable. And it's actually one of the most expensive models. Even in fighter the back wheels fall out from under it if you look at it cross-eyed. There is no way it didn't do that when the design team was looking over the prototype. But they keep sending it out to production anyway. I've been a Yamato supporter for the most part. But I'm running out of excuses to personally justify them anymore.

So I have the YF-21 as well as the Gamlin, Max and Millia VF-22. When I got the 21 I transformed it once and back(had to watch a video since the thing is way to complicated). The Gamlin I just put in my case in fighter mode. I just spend 2 hours trying to get the Millia into Gerwalk mode to put in my case only to find out the legs and ankles won't hold the mode at all. It keeps tipping over one way or another Then I decided to try Battroid mode. One leg keeps popping off. And if I somehow manage to get it to stay on, the whole thing either tips forward, or does the splits. So that isn't working either. And right now I'm thinking of how much money I spent on this thing and questioning my sanity for doing so

That's encouraging. My GBP is in customs right now. Can't wait to see if paid $150 for a broken figure

A couple of suggestions if I may 1. Maybe the back part of this thread should be split off from the GBP discussion? Since the issue of knurled pins will most likely continue perhaps it can continue in it's own thread? 2. This one is for Graham. I understand that the bad pins in the VT-1 might have been an accident. But obviously the VF-1J packaged with the GBP was not. Can you please ask Yamato, the next time they knowingly re-release valks with bad pins, to maybe include a few good pins in the box? And maybe shake your finger at them for doing it in the first place while you're there Thanks!

Ugh....I don't post a lot in here but I read pretty much most of what is said. I went over to Robotech.com and was thumbing through this thread: http://www.robotech.com/community/forum/re...mp;pagenumber=5 I can't believe the crap Pizza is saying on the last page. How can someone be that uninformed? Has he actually ever even watched Macross Frontier? I can't believe the things he's spewing out as factual. Do people actually listen to him at all? Robotech Art 1 "The Official Guide to the Robotech Universe" lists Minmei's age as 15 and Rick Hunter's as 19. I'm not sure how that is any different then Ranka and Alto. I’m not sure where he heard that, but actually if there was anyone to blame for Macross not existing outside of Japan it’s HG for sitting on the franchise and not doing anything worthwhile with it. Wow..talk about uninformed. The reason they have a hard time importing Macross items to sell is because of HG and their “cease and desist” letters. Does he seriously not know that’s happened at least twice? This is my favorite thing he said. Macross ripped off Yamato. But Robotech ripped off Macross. And not only that Robotech has pretty much ripped off everything to get where they are. Which really isn’t that far. Eh? “Space Nympho?” I admit I don't speak Japanese. I watched all of Shinsen's Subs subbed Macross Frontier several times and I don't recall seeing Space Nympho anywhere. I recall it as "Galactic Fairy" Perhaps Shinsen didn't sub it right? Doubt it. Ok...venting over. I had all this ready to post on Robotech.com but I figured I'd just get banned since I was disagreeing. And I didn't want to give MRCAPSLOCK the satisfaction.

I'm not normally one to criticize Yamato, and I have yet to have a broken shoulder, but using old VF-1J stock and re-releasing it "as is" without repairing known breakage issues strikes me as pretty bad form. And it really doesn't show a lot of concern for their customers. They had to know that if shoulders broke before, they most likely would again.
