I was digging through some of my old artwork and I came across a gem from the past. Many years ago when the 1/60 Ver 1 was still hot and the 1/48 was the newest thing on the block, I was dating this girl that used to buy glamour magazines. Using some of the ads I found, and a little Photoshop Magic, I decided to modify them a bit and send Macross advertising in a slightly different direction. I posted these before so some of you old timers might remember them. For the others, please enjoy: Feel free to add your own if you like

Thanks for the input Eugimon. Sorry if this question is stupid, but for most of my indoor shots, I normally use some sort of a lightbox. Does that still make it lowlight indoor shooting? Thanks!

some advice from the experts please I have an old Minolta Dimage Z10. In it's day it was a pretty good camera. It was not simple like a point and shoot, and not as complicated (or expensive) as a DLSR either. A bit of an inbetween camera. I liked that I could tweak the settings a bit to suit my needs. So I'm looking for something similar, but new. I take mostly indoor shots of figures and stuff but occasionally do outdoor shots from time to time. I hardly ever watch any TV other then movie channels. But I started watching this one and so far it's pretty good. And the next episode has Murphy MacManus in it!

Without actually seeing it, I'd go with no for a repaint. Althought I do like the DYRL SDF better, I cannot see myself paying the money for a TV version unless it's more accurate.

Nope. Still didn't work. I even tried different burning software and it didn't complete. So I'll have to figure out something else. UPDATE: I brought the file to work where I have some newer comps with better burners. I just burned a DVD and it says it completed successfully. So tonight when I get home I'll try it out on the PS3!

I've tried to burn it to DVD twice and both times I got an error saying the burning couldn't be completed. I don't think it's my hardware because I burned something else the other day and watched it on my PS3. So now I'm downloading the complete file from the torrent. I'll see what happens with that.

You would certainly be my hero. I've been trying to convert several of the subbed files to watch on my PS3 and haven't had any luck.

I went back and re-read what some of those people you said agreed with you wrote and I got a completely different interpretation from their response. But I'm not going to argue on their behalf. And I think you're mistaking rape with the hero taking the heroine in a manly, forcible fashion. Or perhaps you're thinking about some fake porn rape. You clearly are not talking about actual real-life rape. I know women that's it's happened to. It's a horrible, brutal, violent crime. They try to fight, they scratch. They do not want it to happen. They will do anything to keep it from happening. They usually end up a bruised, bloody mess because the rapist beat them into submission in order to have his way with her. So no, you are incorrect to think a guy can just slide the undies to the side and go to town like he's with his girlfriend at make out point.

Actually, I did post my thoughts a page back. And I also went back and looked at everyone's responses before I posted and I don't see this 40/60 you're talking about. And It's not that people are discussing this supposed rape. But like frothymug said, evidence is getting pretty stretched to defend it (ie. clothes moved to the side. She got dressed again afterward)

My personal interpretation: Myung was not raped. But I think it was going to head in that direction until Guld saw himself in the mirror. He then realized what he was about to do, and what he had done. In years to come, he coped by fabricating in his mind it was Isamu that did those awful things and not himself. In a sense, turning his own shame and disgrace into agression. Agression for a part-Zentran is probably easier to deal with. Disgrace, probably not so much.

Looks like Bandai is going to release decal sheets for the EW Deathscythe and The O. Unfortunatly they do not come out until Dec. I'm trying to figure out why they release decals for kits a good 3 months after said kit is released but I can't seem to come up with anything that makes sense. Me, I'd say release the decals around the same time, but what do I know.

Raising an old topic here...but I could have sworn "Valkyries 2" was on HLJ as a pre-order a while back. But I cannot seem to find it anymore. Cancelled perhaps?
