I received my SAL shipping notice from HLJ on 1/15/12. My VF25s showed up in Oregon USA on 01/31/12

I should have added that that $26 more is including shipping. Shipped from HLJ $198 Shipped from BBTS $224

Actually, that is not a bad price at this point. It turns out to be only about $26 more then I paid to get one from HLJ shipped via SAL.

I wish I knew of a magical place to get one a month from now

Luckily I barely managed to get one VF-25s after squeaking in during a small HLJ pre-order re-opening. It kind of sucks that in order to score these, it seems you have to get in on a pre-order. Since the Macross F valks are top of my list as far as fav Valk Designs, I would gladly buy 2 more Alto's at retail price (assuming they release Tornado armor eventually) and one more Ozma. You hear that Bandai! Take my money!!

I wish Bandai wasn't so skimpy on the release of the base Valks. I'm buying all the armor/super sets and instead of having to swap them around on one of each, I'd love to have multiple on display wearing the different armors.

I noticed people saying HLJ will carry this. Thing is, HLJ has not gotten all of the Yamato shop exclusives. Namely the GBP with launch effects and the Zentran Suit for Max's VF-1A. (both of which I would have eagerly have bought from HLJ had they stocked these) So, it's not necessarily true that the VF-4 will be stocked. Hopefully though...

Thanks Graham, I appreciate you checking. I don't really care much for the deculture ones either, my interest in this one is more to complete the collection then just the valk itself.

Scored a Series 4 red Klan Secret off of ebay. That completes that series. Series 2 Ranka secret is once again, the only one that stands between me and complete Macross fighter collection domination!

IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP: I was kicking back on a recliner transforming my VF-25 V2, when I heard the sound of something fall down into the chair. I couldn't figure out what it was for a while, but then I discovered the tip of the gun had come off. Took me a while digging around in the chair but I finally found it. *whew* So be careful with those gun tips

I think I figured it out. When Charlize asks the mirror "who is the FAIREST one of all" the mirror took that to mean the PALEST. So yeah, that would be Kristen

Ok, I am usually willing to suspend belief for a fantasy story. But if Charlize Theron's mirror says Kristen Stewart is more beautiful, then that mirror is clearly broken and needs to be replaced. I would be completely onboard if the roles were switched though.

For Frontier Movie 1, someone on MW put together a good fansub to play on PS3. I cannot remember who it was though. Hopefully he does it again with movie 2

I just felt the same way when I was packing my VF-22 Millia for moving. I got so sick of the legs not tucking away easily and popping off during the transformation process I decided I am going to sell it. Piece of %$&*#@^ crap

No, I don't believe they started with the transparent blue stands until series 3. It should have a regular black stand like in the pic in my post above

For macross plus trades...hmmm...I don't have a lot. I have the 3 GNU's. The YF-19 & YF-21 3 Piece Sets from Yamato VFC series 1&2. And a 1/60 YF-19 first release that was the unfortunate victim of a failed "pro-modellers wash" experiment. When they were released, I bought 2 boxes and ended up with a YF-19 in one of those. You might be able to sell the others from the boxes to MW members considering that series 2 came and went pretty fast and is now discontinued. I for one would jump at the chance to buy a the series 2 secret if you would happen to get one (I believe it's a green "Ranka" de-culture VF-25). This one and one more from series 4 are the only 2 keeping me from having a complete series 1-4 collection
