Yup ...that happened to me once ... I now have a backup drive , a of the backup of the backup drive which I put in the safe and a backup of on a few cd's I rewrite every year .. -- Paranoid ....

Depends on your needs, but have a look @ Rhino3d , low cost, very good machining and 3D, solids and nurbs ......

So it's been a while .... I like the Macross orange schemes , so I added a bit of dirt . A few textures and materials and off we go ... maybe too dirty , but i like that look let me know what you think ...Valk will be in same colour scheme , just first draft for colour , lots to add

my 2 cents All my models are done for manufacture , or printing ........one day , even if you can afford the 3d Printer , it only does a small amount of printing before you need to replace cartridge , in South Africa a printer would cost R130 000.00 (+- $ 17 000.00 ) and a cartridge R1000 ( +-$ 133.00), if you do the math that doesn't make sense and you need a lot of work to keep such a printer going ......
