  1. AND Wudolf the Wed-nosed Waindeer. Taksraven
  2. "Blowed up" is putting it mildly. A capital ship taken out with one shot from what is essentially a fighter sized (but probably not fighter classed) vessel. What was even funnier was the other capital vessel behind it (Not sure, maybe I can be helped on this) being turned into a fruitloop by an alien blast then blowing up. It basically means that unless other ships have got REALLY good shields, I think we shall see some more easy destruction of fleets in the future. Taksraven
  3. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I don't think that the mystery Valk is connected with Shin or the VF-0. Unless Mr Kawamori had such a plan back when he made Macross Zero. (Don't get me wrong, I would like for there to be a link and to have final closure on the events of Macross Zero, but I doubt its going to happen in this series.) I still think that Shin and Sara ended up in the same place as Hikaru and Misa and Megaroad-01. That is, in some sort of netherworld where they will never be seen again. If I am wrong about all of this, I don't mind either. I would be happy to see Macross drawing more on its own history. Taksraven.
  4. Might as well be called VF-25 LITTLE BABY JESUS. I thought that we were supposed to watch Evangelion for all the quasi-religious biblical stuff. Taksraven
  5. From www.gallifreyone.com "Classic series actor Bernard Archard has died at the age of 91. Archard created two memorable roles in the series. In 1966 he played the role of Bragen, the security chief seeking complete control of a colony of humans on the planet Vulcan, in Patrick Troughton's first story, The Power of the Daleks. He returned to the series in 1975 to create the classic role of Marcus Scarman in the Tom Baker story Pyramids of Mars a story highly rated by fans." He will be missed. I will probably never get to see him in The Power of the Daleks, but he was truly brilliant in The Pyramids of Mars, playing a man reduced to a puppet by a powerful alien. A very evil and chilling puppet, who even kills his own brother. I have to admit that I was surprised when I bought Pyramids of Mars on DVD several years ago that he was still alive and able to take part in some of the documentary special features on the disc. He will be missed. Taksraven
  6. They are all doing it for free though (if people get paid for fansubbing I would like to know about it), so maybe we should not complain much out of respect. Better than no fansub at all. Taksraven
  7. I noticed that delay too. It was a pretty heavy dialogue episode, but they are usually ready by monday at the latest so far. Might be beaten by Shinsen (who have gotten their act together finally) at this rate. Taksraven
  8. Chef "Natural Pork" (Works at Nyan Nyan) is my favorite character so far. He has the right attitude for dealing with girls in your employ who are slacking off. And he has appeared TWICE now.... Taksraven
  9. Don't forget, according to the intro of the Deculture Edition there are a LOT of different fleets. And some of the subtitles in the Shinsen translation of one of the episodes does suggest a level of diversity with the fleets. Some are commercial affairs and others are government run. Some fleets are probably more "military" than others as well. One interesting question. I wonder how these colony ships are constructed. They are certainly massive and would be a major undertaking of engineering, even with the assistance of Zentradi technology and manpower. I guess that the captured Zentradi factory-satellite could be Also, since most of the Earths population was wiped out in Space War One, I wonder what percentage of humanity would now be clones or descendants of clones, since the species seems to be spreading so drastically. 10. I admit that the Hippo Cows are VERY cool but to me the best creature seen in Macross is still the colossal bird creature (Terrorsaur, I can't remember, maybe thats a Beast Wars character) that we see on the planet Eden in Macross Plus. A truly amazing creature. Imagine what it would be like to live on a world where such creatures existed. Taksraven
  11. Yes, you are right there. Time for the pace and the action to start to pick up. It would seem that all of the introductions are over, the characters have generally been established. I don't think that random Vajra attacks or attacks in ones and twos are going to cut it anymore. Time for some bigger action and to explain why they are such a threat. Taksraven
  12. I know, I was just using the most recent example.... Taksraven
  13. Especially since in Macross Zero we had Sara TOTALLY NAKED!!! Taksraven
  14. Exactly who I thought it looked like. I can't find a picture or him though. Taksraven
  15. Probably just a red herring. The show will probably feature a former superhero-turned-lawyer having a strange career. Did you get that thing I sent ya!!!!!!  Taksraven
  16. I thought that they must have done that, otherwise it would have blasted its way out. With the way it was headbutting its way out of the tank, was anybody else reminded of Rei's Evangelion unit doing the same thing the time it went beserk with her in it and it tried to smash into a control room? Taksraven
  17. I like put the that about we away these spoiler . I that you the episode without seen you so your risk. Anybody to my ? T k r v n
  18. Just a few things. 1. Looking at what the Vajra is in Indian mythology, (a weapon), I think that its fair to assume thats all the species of bugs are. Just weapons. Taksraven
  19. It is a nice positive view, isn't it. Taksraven
  20. Here we go with the breasts again. That didn't take long. Taksraven
  21. That may be true, but it was still pretty obvious that they were clearing the decks for material that HG had created themselves. Wasn't Southern Cross one of the "Super Dimension/al" series? Thats probably why they own the licence. Taksraven
