Saw Red Sonja in the cinema, a really funny film with arnie really just playing conan. Legend and Willow were yawn fests for me, don't know why. Condorman was a really interesting vehicle for Michael Crawford, but to self-aware and ironic to be a success at the time. Whats Spacehunter like? The Black Hole is a good film that is nearly great, which was a pity. I saw Silent Running for the first time a few months ago. A very strange SF pic. Logans Run quickly runs out of steam after a great start. And time bandits is simply a great film. A true joy to watch. Taksraven

You're right, these games were vastly underrated and a lot of fun to play. The only thing I wanted to do in those others that I hope can be done in these ones is a direct confrontation with Vader. ( I was told that I have to confront him again and I was hoping to get the chance).

The pacing of this series has always been a concern of mine. It like with Macross Zero when you had the penultimate episode consisting of a lot of stuffing around and time-wasting to the extent that the last episode was extremely rushed. (I know that the start of the second last episode of Zero was great, but it slowed down pretty quickly after that.) With Frontier I am just concerned that they are not leaving themselves enough time to wrap up the series properly and tie up all the loose ends. But then again, I feel that the final battle in any series should probably be stretched over a number of episodes rather than compressed into the last one, in other words, the final battle should have probably already begun. Its going so slow I feel like we will never reach the fireworks factory! Taksraven

Richard Wright died yesterday after a brief battle with cancer. He was 65. One of the founding members of Pink Floyd, his keyboard work played an important role in almost every album. For a good example of his keyboard work with Pink Floyd, listen to "The Great Gig in the Sky" on Dark Side of the Moon. He also contributed vocals for a number of Pink Floyd songs and wrote a few tracks too. Wright had an interesting history with the band that I am not going into here (there is plenty of info on this in other places). What I will say is that he was clearly an unappreciated and underrated member of the band, not just with some fans but with actual members of the band too. He will be missed. Rest in Peace. Taksraven
