    You know, I was watching some of Frontier the other day (the end of the episode where the SMS goes pirate and leaves the fleet) and I was still getting the same thrill that I did when I first watched it. I think that this series as a whole will stand up to repeated viewing and should age well. I'm not saying that it was above any criticism, but I think that negative criticisms of this show have to be considered to be minor compared to the positive aspects of this great series. I think that a lot of people, in SF and anime fandom in particular, are too eager at times to nitpick things to death. The LOVE to scream "WORST EPISODE EVER!" at any opportunity. Taksraven

    If Bond was going to be a realistic British spy he would have to have a more 'flexible' sexuality because it sounds like a lot of them had to be into anything (literally) to be successful. The whole 'womaniser' thing is a load of dingo's kidneys. Taksraven

    Sounds like one of the versions of it. (there were a LOT of variants of this game, some much more complex than others) I especially used to enjoy a version on the amiga that let you have boarding parties to take over other ships and your shields had directional controls, so you could have the shields set to strongest for the direction the attack was coming from.     Well thats the reason why I was so meh about that song, the overkill. I agreed with the sound engineer in the show who was shaking his head when they were mixing the Anti-Vajra version of the song. Taksraven

    I still think that this theory is a little bonkers. Especially if you are talking about a story idea. I mean, most popular entertainment is derivative of earlier works. Taksraven

    The licking bit in Ninja Scroll caused no end of trouble here in Australia. It was originally released here. Then some idiot complained about the sexual violence in the film (don't forget, regular violence is ok), so it's classification was withdrawn and when that happens in Australia a show is effectively banned. It was eventually rereleased with the "offending" material having been edited out. My opinion, Ninja Scroll is not without its faults but it is still high art when compared to Legend of the Overfiend. Now THAT is nasty anime. Taksraven (Would love to see a Hollywood remake of Overfiend though)
