    I am not surprised that you are enjoying the new Who. Christopher Eccleston is now one of my absolute favourite Doctors. He did such a good job that its a real shame that he left the series so quickly. Another season with him would have been perfect. I think that Tennant is brilliant too, mind you, but it would have been good to have a little bit more of the 9th Doctor. Toys for this series are now great. Since it restarted merchandising has taken off in a BIG way and you can get figurines of just about every character. Dr Who fans have never had it so good. Taksraven

    I think that you are right about that being a McKinney concept. It was one of THE most annoying aspects of the novels (which took tons of liberties anyway) and it was very poor writing. Taksraven

    Not great but certainly not as bad as a lot of people have been saying. I had more of a problem with the acting (or lack thereof) than the actual script. Hayden and Rachel Bilson were just there as eye-candy and Jackson looked silly with that hair. Taksraven

    I say that we start a new thread. "What do you think has caused Roy Focker's brain to finally snap". It would be lots of fun and we could run a poll with suggestions why his brain has snapped. (Example, "It has snapped because he has had to moderate too many crapheads in these forums" etc.....) Taksraven

    That Time Machine WAS a horrible adaptation. (NOT a contender for worst film ever, though) I hate the fact that Wells stories NEVER seem to get the good film adaptations that they deserve. Some hack always comes along and decides that they know better and can do better. (Yes, I am looking at you, Mr Spielberg) With CG effects, most of HG Wells material could be filmed really well now, but it looks like it is never going to happen. Taksraven

    Meh, I would put Jurassic in the worst film category easily. If you want to see some well-filmed Crichton, watch the original 70's Andromeda Strain. (a great little film, but probably too dull for many action freaks) Taksraven
