The F-22 was better in a number of aspects to the YF-23 which is why it was chosen but I agree, the 23 is really pretty. Speaking as an engineering student, I've met people who were on that design project, cool stuff. Also the wing configuration on the F-22 for stealth ability is called Plan-form Alignment. It uses the angle of the wings to deflect radar better than the materials they used of the F-117 (which I don't like much). Also, again speaking as an engineering student, the F-22 is considered to have delta wings because they are swept back. Even the B-2 Spirit and the F-14 are considered delta wing configuration. It just has to look a little like a triangle. The YF-23 is definitely a diamond shape though, much more than the F-22.

Well I figured it was hit in the attack, lost it's atmosphere and was exposed to vacuum which would eventually freeze it all. Remember what happened to South Atria Island after the SDF-1's fold? Also you don't need spoiler tags anymore.

I never really knew what Godzilla's origin was really.. but seeing as he is practically a resident of Japan, being the result of a nuclear bomb makes some sense.

To note on the burial stuff, in Gilliam's funeral they seemed to be sending his body into the lake/ocean in Island 1 but by Wilder's dialogue in the Shinsen Sub it seems his body would eventually be decomposed and the remains would be somehow recycled for the benefit of everyone on the ship. I'm not sure how exactly that would work but it makes sense if you think about it.

I don't think this really qualifies as a newbie question but it seems like the best place to ask. Does anyone know the same of the song Ranka sings in ep.12 to tame the Zentradi. It is really catchy. I hope it makes it onto OST 2 (which better happen, there is so much stuff sing OST 1).

Ah, I should have thought about those scans. I'd seen them before, even saved them on my hard drive because I'm a mecha freak like that. I just didn't bother to look. It is a nice picture isn't it. I am waiting for Ozma to do something really cool in the show soon so I can get an animated avatar of the VF-25S doing whatever it is. I prefer the S to the F (the G is good too).

You are quite welcome. I'd love to see an OVA or movie do that, would be awesome. I agree on the F-22 bit, actually that is what I used to see when I looked at the VF-22. After getting to know that plane though I don't see it as much, but the 24 definitely has it.

Remember deaths for SMS are considered accidents though. That is one big accident...

I was a bit disappointed at first but like most people I ended up thinking it was a good episode. We do need a slower pace after the last 3 episodes. I still have a lot of questions that can be answered by subs, so hopefully Kei will be done soon.

I've considered this as a possibility. It is why I was more interested in super parts but after ep.14 I want armor parts just as bad, even if it ends up bulky.

Oh if we are going that route then here. Ivan Dex, call sign Sturmvolf Secret trump card of SMS as he is their true ace pilot. Flies highly customized VF-25 with pinpoint barrier attachments and dark blue/black colors and an ECS cloaking system (yeah, invisible) Not shown on screen due to being a secret, only brought out when absolutly necessary, otherwise he is cloaked. I'm really not joking, this is what I'd be if I knew we could make our own character, I've actually thought this up before (thought not to the secret extent necessarily, just had to fit into the current show). I just picked Ozma if we had to play from the main cast. Note: Ivan Dex is a character name I've used for a long time, is also where my screen name comes from as it started out as a fan made Star Wars character, as in Jedi Master Ivan Dex.

I want to say Michael, I really do... but I don't think I fit that role best (though on another note, I do think I fit the Max Jenius role well). I'd probably go with Ozma, because I am not as rash and unpredictable as Alto. I see myself as more of the front line fighter but more reserved and I take the time to do things right. That is Ozma because of his experience. However I don't listen to much Fire Bomber, I'd prefer to not have Bobby after me, and I am usually a follower more than a leader so perhaps I don't fit any character perfectly. Actually I am probably one of the unnamed engineers on the Quater, lol, but this is for main characters. If we knew anything about Brera besides that he is a cyborg and Ranka's real brother (we know he is) I might say him but he really is still a whole lot of mystery.
