I don't know what QFT means, I try to keep up on all the acronyms and I know many but this one I do not. I know we have no idea what the final will look like, I have been saying that for weeks. I'm one of the people that sincerely believes Bandai will actually do a good job. I'm just saying that in the end I don't really care if it is not perfect as long as I get a VF-25 that I can admire. Heheh, very nice.

No, doesn't look like the YF-24 at all based on the schematic from ep.15. I think Azrael is right, it is a non-variable fighter that we weren't meant to dwell on... but because of who we are we did.

You know... I don't really care if it isn't perfect. I don't care if some random joint ends up loose, or if the battroid shoulders are a little big. I don't care if it cannot stand on it's own without a stand mechanism. I do want it to feel well constructed for $120 or so, but still I think I am making a point. What I really want, is a decent toy of the VF-25 which I have seen as one of the coolest mechs in Macross. There are things I like about all valks but I just really like this one for some reason (the design is what I like the most, in fighter and battroid) and I would just like to have a decently made toy of it because I think it is cool. It doesn't need to be the most perfect thing in the world with no QC issues and the possibility of a natural human being. Hell I'll be fine with it even if the inner cockpit doesn't have much detail or if the white and yellows are too bright. I don't even think I'll be bothered if the proportions aren't show accurate, actually that thought never bothered me at all. Of course I imagine it is probably hard to make things completely show accurate. I understand how people who are big on collecting want certain things and I know they (as in the toy companies) won't try to make it better if no one complains. I'm not asking people to stop complaining, please do so and the thing will probably be better for it. What I am saying is that I think this is going to be a pretty decent if not very nice figure of the VF-25 and in the end that is all for which I ask.

If true, and I'm not jumping to conclusions, it may not be an extension so much as we weren't really told the actual episode length of the series and 25 became the presumed length at some point. So it is possible it could have always been for 36.. but like I said we don't know that yet and I won't jump to conclusions.

I too think a large print to put up on my wall is very fitting of this image. I need more decoration anyway, now I have a great excuse.

No, the DX is the 1/60 scale but the 1/100 are also toys just in a smaller scale. The 1/100 aren't called DX because they are smaller. The 1/72 scale are the model kits which are supposedly perfect transformation.

Eh, I just assume they're dead. I suppose they could be out there... doing stuff and having fun. However they got a number of stories out of those kids, I'm content with letting them rest. They went out on the first colony ship, started they're voyage and had fun, then later they were gone. Max and Millia on the other hand became important to one of the later model colony ships and did they're voyage, but stopped to play some music for some inter dimensional vampires along the way and had some fun with that, and then they moved on. Frontier is doing some stuff somewhere near a gas giant and now its private military is stopping to wrestle with some bugs that may turn out to be not so bad as some questionable cyborgs and they are having fun. Eventually they will complete their story, whatever that is, and move on. I don't keep myself caught up in what happens afterward, although epilogues are nice sometimes I can live without. Besides, aspiring writers can make so many fanfics when there is no set ending for some characters or a story. With a solid end writers can still write fanfics but they may eventually find themselves changing the universe to make it work.

Indeed, I misunderstood. I always knew that opening graphic there listed Galaxy as an NMC. What I thought he meant was there was some new image of Galaxy showing an NMC carrier attached to it as some have theorized there might be. However it seems nothing here is really new.

The 1/100 looks really good with the proportions. Still just basic prototypes for the 1/60. At this point I don't think we will see pictures of the final 1/60 figure until it has been released and the pictures are form someone's review of it. While the 1/00 would be cheaper, I still plan to get the 1/60 because it is bigger. I like that size. However the 1/100 price is really manageable then I can see one of those being my second Macross Frontier purchase.

After past incidents it would be best to run it by a mod to see if it is ok to post it. However if it is just bikini and nothing worse it should be ok I think because I've seen Nanase fans with pictures of here is nothing more than bikinis and underwear.

It is tempting believe me. Nice to know someone enjoys my long techy posts. I also do it with sciencey posts. I have nothing against the ventral head storing but having them on the top is good too. However the only problem I've seen with it is the head lasers seem to be fixed backwards a lot when the head it stored in fighter and gerwalk mode. If the laser turrets can move forward and backward then I'd like it more.

I would help with the info on the VF-25 transformation stuff because I know how it works exactly but I think everyone else has given you enough information for you to have a good idea. Also if I start talking about it it will be a very long post and from experience most people don't read my long posts either because I am more boring than I believe or no one wants to hear me in geeky tech mode, lol.

The Deculture Edition was the first version of episode 1 aired, the Broadcast version was the one shown when the series started. Yack Deculture is those 2 combined into one so everything is there and nothing is cut out. It is something different from Deculture edition. Sometimes GB seems to be shorted to G... I don't know why, I actually say GB myself, blame others. You spelled obsessed wrong.
