  1. The last image is a fan made drawing. There are a number of fan made drawings that detail the 25's transformation. They are all pretty good too.
  2. Actually people who are geniuses (like Einstein) actually are found to have smaller brains because there are more wrinkles, a sign they were thinking a lot and working their mind. When they opened Einstein's head after he died people though the brain would be huge but it was actually smaller than the average brain.
  3. You pray, just pray... Or you can break the fourth wall and write in the scene that your a better pilot than either of them.
  4. We knew Ozma was a Fire Bomber fan since episode 2 when Totsugeki Love Heart was playing on his car radio.

  6. If you mean you don't see it, it is Sheryl's last name. In ep.18 it was constantly misspelled as Noam, but in 19 it seems to have been corrected to Nome.
  7. You are absolutely right and I agree. However something to consider is in BSG all the biggest and best space battles have been rather close range and well within sight of the enemy so the weapons systems they have been using would still work fairly decently. My favorite BSG moment is probably from season 2's "The Captain's Hand" where the Pegasus under Lee Adama then as acting commander as the current commander was dealing with an engineering issue charged against I believe 2 Basestars (maybe 3) and knocked one out before they got their FTL back and jumped out. Shows how much more powerful the more modern and up to date the Mercury class Battlestars (like Pegasus) are compared to Galactica which was a refitted 50 year old Battlestar.
  8. Sounds to me they just noticed their own mistake and fixed it.
  9. Actually MisaForethought I prefer .avi over everything myself. I only get the .mkv when it is the only one available since I never have had any problems with it. I don't do anything special just to view it. I only download the .ass sub files so I don't have to redownload the whole episode just to see it with subs, I have to think about conserving hard disk space. My computer set up is actually not expensive at all, it is rather cheap. I am running a laptop with a dual core 1.6 GHz processor, 2 GB of Ram, and my video card isn't worth s***. I actually started out with only 1 GB of ram, I upgraded. I want to max my laptop out to 4 GB (I believe that is the most it will take) but I can't afford that right now. It is actually only a year and a half old computer but when I bought it I was trying to cost price so the performance of the machine suffers as a result. I can barely play any games on it so I'm not much of a PC gamer. My hard drive is actually 140 GB but almost 2/3 of it is used up due to the amount of stuff I've downloaded which is why I don't want to redownload episodes every time just for subs. My plan to get an external hard drive at some point to put my library of video files in so I can open up my hard drive for anything I may need it for. Truthfully, I'm surprised that given all this I seem to have no problem at all playing MKV files and such in standard Windows Media Player no less when the word around here is that is the last thing people seem to try. True I downloaded a pretty complete codec pack that supposedly has everything I need to play anything but that was just a simple download that anyone can do, before that everything was choppy, even AVI files. So basically, I only did one thing to allow myself to watch these episodes, and I am running what most people would consider to be a sub par system compared to the powerful machines out there today.
  10. I have never had any trouble with .mkv at all. Also I play all the stuff on simple Windows Media Player, not Media Player Classic, but the standard Windows Media Player. Granted I do have the k-lite codec pack which has ffdshow and all those thing to make it play smoothly but it still works fine. I have had trouble with .ass file subs like overlapping and such though. I just named the .ass file the same as the video file and both WMP and WMC play them with the subs and they seem to work. The method of attaching the subs to the file that DarkReaper just outlined is interesting because I've never heard of that, I may do that now to solve the overlapping issue. Since GG's subs require a raw without the sponser bits I just edit them out using basic video editing software.
  11. Actually now that I am watching Macross 7 it isn't bothering me nearly as much as I thought it would. It probably helps though that I have recently grown to really like Fire Bomber music so I am not bothered with hearing it so constantly (thank Frontier ep.17 for that, first time I heard more than just Planet Dance). I am currently 9 episodes in (episode counter in my sig now) and I am finding it to be interesting. It really is a show more focused on the characters of the band rather than the on going Protodevlin conflict happening around them. Of course no liking of the music or tolerance to the story can change the fact that Basara is a stuck up self absorbed jerk, . However I can respect him for being a good singer and somehow a very talented pilot (they never say where he learned to fly... maybe Ray taught him).
  12. You forgot the part where you collect the underpants...
  13. It is interesting how Cloud Nine does a small scale version of what the city ships seem to do in Macross. However I bet they are on a chemical plant, that sounds more like colonial technology, especially since they are on the run.
  14. I like that VF-19 transformation. I am guessing you have the Macross 7 Remastered episodes available to you. I'll have to remember that if I ever seen something in 7 I like. I am just now watching Macross 7 for the first time (and I am liking it more than I thought I would actually).
  15. Does he say this more consistently? Because I have only seen the first 9 episodes of M7 (the ticker in my sig shows my progress, yes I am planning to watch all of it), and so far I've only seen him do that in ep.1 so I assume he either does it more later or it just became a meme because it is so funny (which it is).
  16. I did notice it because I take extensive screen shots of mecha action from episodes for my personal collection (I share images if people want them and do screen shot requests as well) however I just didn't bother to say anything. However I am glad someone noticed even though I didn't bothered to point it out.
  17. This is what I initially thought. It could still be true, but it does seem odd that we are made to focus on these 3 in specific.
  18. Thank you. Although on observation is it hard to believe they are people cosplaying over the top. I believe they are in fact Vajra but I don't think Ai-kun is one of them, that would be a little too quick.

  20. I love the space battles in BSG also. I do wish the space battles in Macross were more strategic and not as March puts it 'aim and fire' which it indeed is. However with armaments like the Macross cannon you sure can't argue with results. To quote then Colonal Jack O'neill from Stargate SG-1: "It's a big honkin' space gun, General."
  21. When I first noticed the missiles coming from the boosters I remember that 3 seem to fire from each booster at once and he fires twice on screen before ejecting Michael's fast packs most likely due to running out. So in that scene we see him fire at least 12 missiles from the engine pods. We don't know if there is more that we didn't see him fire but those were Michael's Fast packs from Gallia 4 and we know Michael didn't use them, however Alto could have used some missiles before finding Sheryl, Michael, and Luca. So for now all we know is the engine pieces on the super packs collectively carry at least 12 missiles. The super pack also has missiles in the 'chest' piece as well.
  22. It could be but without giving any spoilers if you haven't seen the latest on Macross Frontier it seems less likely and more likely that the name Nome, or even the entire name Sheryl Nome was given to her, so she may not be an blood descendant. However SK and Frontier have thrown us for a loop before so you never know.
  23. I hope for that at the very least because I actually want super parts for Ozma's valk. Of course I've become a lot more accustom to the armor set so I will try to get that as well. Actually I would put my money more on Ozma coming with armor parts and Alto coming with super since they are the trademark of each valk. However since we have seen both use the other then it is still possible they will each get both. The real worry is whether or not additional parts that don't come with the first release valks (if that happens even) will come separate or will they make you have to buy the valk again to get them (which seems to be more likely lately).
  24. I do really like that scene from "Exodus." The idea of jumping right into the planet to send reinforcements, brilliant. Cylons never saw it coming. Yeah it seems in BSG the FTL technology can be utilized in a gravitational field but perhaps its range is hampered. In Macross is seems there is a very good reason why they don't fold in a gravity well. Of course it would have helped if the Macross crew knew why that was a mistake before doing it, lol.
