  1. Looks like my patience paid off! Great news indeed!
  2. I got mine some times back. It is a good book but I think it is a little bit under done if compared to VF-19 Master files. The pics and paint schemes are not as exciting as well.
  3. I come in late for this one. Is it the same mold as VF-25 with a few updates or is it an entire new mold? I noticed that the landing gears look much better than the trolley wheels in VF-25. Overall appearance looks more crisp and detailed than the VF-25 too. I'll probably get one and convert it back to VF-25

    1/48 VF-25

It's been a long while since the first and only 'prototype' picture of the 1/48 VF-25 from Bandai. Anyone heard or saw anything? I've been waiting it for a long time. Hope they didn't already canned it.
  5. This is one heck of an ugly design.
  6. VF-25 over an alien landscape.
  7. I think by now the F-15 should evolve into something like this. My latest photoshop creation. The original pic can be found in Airliner website.
  8. If anyone take a loser look at the line art (side profiles) on page 78, you probably noticed that the shoulder fairing for the A, B is different from the C, D as well. Does anyone know if it is explained in the text?
  9. Fantastic profile, Talos. On the empenage section it shows that the vertical tail for VF-19A+ is 18% larger that the VF-19A. The subsequent model (VF-19C, D) seems to revert back to the A model. Hope it has some explanation with it.
  10. If this is not the right section, please move. Thanks! I just got the VF-19 Master File and realized that the CGIs of VF-19F in the book are very different than Kawamori's orignial design. The VF-19F in the book is having the VF-19A intake, nose and canopy. I guessed they are cutting cost in CGI department, but it's kind of cool and make more sense in real world. By the could some one show me the translation of thisbook? I remember reading it somewhere. Many thanks!
  11. Just edited the post with Gerwalk and Battroid. Both are a little bit mis-transformed while photographing though
  12. Thanks for the advice mate! I'm still learning how to do that. The masking tapes always left thick lines around them. I heard people would sand them before applying clear coat. Do you know what type/number of sand paper to do it? Gerwalk and Battroid are on the way.
  13. Not my best piece of work. Yamato used tons of glue in this. Some parts simply can't be disassembled dispite screws have been removed. I've seen many custom paints here based on Russsia or US fighters. I tried something different, it's based on Israel and Sout Africa fighters.
  14. Wow, that looks good. It seems to have better quality than the 1/60 YF-19. Anyone knows about its playability? Yamato's look good but not fun to play with. I just got the 1/60 VF-22S Max and it is damn f***ing hard to transform from Battroid to Gerwalk.
  15. My VF-22S Max has finally arrived But a little bit disappointed by the size. I thought it would be slightly bigger. I know I'm greedy. It seems to have much better quality than the VF-19 bird of prey I'm having. On a separate note, I'm trying to customized the VF-19. And I just found out that Yamato used tons of glue to glue many parts. They even glue some of the screw caps/covers! It's giving me hard time to dismantling it and re-colouring it.
