  2. HI Swoosh, Tks for the pics. Any box pics to show us too?
  3. Great news! Life is good again! I too hope it will release in 2009, more times to save $$. This year budget is filled. Hope Yamato don't do oversized gun like the GN-U version
  4. Hurray again! Will definately get it...perhaps 2 pieces. Life is good! Any mention of release date fm the magazine?
  5. The prblm is we hv to decide on the 1/48 TV Max when the next Chronicle issue arrives soon with the application form. Tough decision but I think i go for it.
  6. Some additions fm 1/48 Max & Miria today 1/72 = NIL 1/60 = 5 1/48 = 8
  7. Quite true, my dealer said it wl be out early next year Anyway, look at bright side , give me more times to save up as there's lotsa other stuffs for me to buy for the rest of the year already.
  8. 1/72 = NIL 1/60 = 5 1/48 = 6
  9. You mean this grayish blue?
  10. I do find the red on 1J rather pale... still prefer the 1/48. Kyp is right, although in Jap, the similar Chinese characters does say the release date for 1D is "not decided" yet. I too hope it will be around X'mas!
  11. me too prefer VF-1J without FB, stay true to TV version & help save some $$
  12. The VF-1J is scheduled for release this oct. So you reckon VF-1D will be out by this year or so?
  13. Is that a Defender prototype next to Tomahawk?
  14. Hurray! THat's it! Tks David
  15. Darn! We are so close getting first glimpse of VF-1D. That poster hanging at the booth clearly shows a 1D in battroid & fighter mode. Someone cud hv taken a close shot of it.
  16. Definately a new 1/60 VF-1J Hikaru, thats great! Hope someone went to the exhibit can also tell us whether any VF-1D sighted there?
  17. Just recvd my VF-1S & hv transformed to battroid with no prblm. So far so good, all parts are intact in one piece . My only complaints is the instrument panel. Thought its supposed to tampo print but all I see is blank white panel. And the sticker given is not large enough to cover it. But not a prblm as I use spare a 1/48 sticker to cover up. Will try to take a shot of it . Not sure if anyone experience it?
  18. Hey Gabe Q, hv fun doing it! I might consider doing a TV Max & Kakizaki!
  19. Tks RuskiiVFaussie Hey Sqidd, becos its just blue & yellow One more pic to share,
  20. Like to share my takes on the 1/144 VF-1s & VT-1. All panel lines were painted & decals applied, followed by a spray coat of protective clear finish. All paints were finished using Tamiya Acrylic spray. Hope you like it! VF-1s skull squadron as seen in DYRL VF-1 formation in DYRL before Kakizaki got blown off My customised VF-1S Roy & Max made fm 2 spares Hikaru VF-1A. Both S heads were taken fm a Strike Roy Focker & Lin Minmay VF-1S. I absolutely love this VT-1! Hope I can see a VE-1 in future.
  21. Not to worry, the stocks are on the way to Singapore for some of the dealers, probably will arrive next week. Well, keeping my fingers crossed
  22. I applied white glue on my Takatoys stickers (esp those small sizes) on all my Valks, as the rough & grainy surface makes it difficult for stickers (even Takatoys) to adhere well. And yes, esp the corners tend to peel off often. Hope this help!
  23. Tks Graham for the great reviews, looking fwd receiving my order soon. Beside Hikaru next release, the different skull colours for the fast pack seem a sure sign we will see a Max & Kakizaki release too!
  24. My dealer here says will receive it by "end July"...that's good toward next payday
  25. Use hobby white glue. They stick well & dry clear.
