Cool, thanks.

Same, I enjoy taking on complex transforming toys like Masterpiece Megatron and the SV-51 to see if I can work out the transformation without the instructions. But then there are toys such as the Trike Ach which are more like kits that you assemble/disassemble to transform. They're fun but not in the same way. The MH Ride Armour transformation sits inbetween.

Yeah, that was Ray before. I just opened and transformed Stick. His joints are stiffer but the same story with the visor only being graded on one side (right). No probs with the windshield this time. If I lean him far forward he can stand but it's awkward. Currently he's in a cool looking half kneeling pose with his arm missiles pointing upwards.

Well I picked up my MHs today. If what people are saying about the MHs being easier to transform than the CMs is right then my sympathies to the people that got the CMs cos I found the MH to be a real pain in the ass to transform. It is really fiddley in that when you connect one piece another falls off etc. The windshield falls off every time it's touched so I might have to glue it on. The parts that are supposed to come away easily are tight and the parts that are supposed to be tight are loose, especially the hips. And there is NO chance of getting these things to stand on their own, even the stand is loose and droops unless balanced perfectly with the figure on top. If the feet are secured to the floor the figure tips backwards to the ground cos the hips are so loose, I will see if it's possible to tighten them. The visor is not only purple but the twit who is supposed to spray the dark grade across the bottom only sprayed one side and it looks weird for it so I might have to strip and retouch it or simply paint the inside black. The visor is loose and doesn't close properly either. There are several more nitpicky type complaints I have about it and I'm a reasonably tollerant person when it comes to transformable toys. All in all its nice but when transforming it it's more like assembling a small model kit. It looks nice but it takes alot of effort to make it look nice, it falls apart if moved arouind too much and many of these parts are really small. I wonder if someone can make reproduction stickers for this thing that will bear how much movement is needed to transform it anyway. I can see then slipping off easily unless they are sealed decals. And if anyone can tell me what the piece in the tray next to the aiming device is for I would appreciate it. And is it possille to attach the front fork and handlebars to the ride armour mode?

HLJ are (FINALLY) processing my order for both MH, so hopefully it will ship in about a week...
-
He was brilliant. RIP Gary - I still have many fond childhood memories of your products.
-
Looks like both the MH are sold out at HLJ now and set to 'Future Release' in my order status.
-
I think it's their messed up order system, it has a few glitches when new stock arrives. My order for Stick now says 'Future Release' as well, it was 'Low Stock' about hour ago, which is what Ray is currently. 'Future Release' means they are ordering stock but are not sure when it will arrive. It does not mean it has been discontinued.

I'm basically in the same situation as Hikuro and the rest of you. I opened my VF-0A (Dark Grey) and the left elbow joint shattered upon first touch. The right sholder joint is so floppy it cannot be posed. I read throught this thread so what I want to know is if Yamato are going to release a fixed version of the VF-0A (so I will be able to order new sholders/arms), fixed sholders or is my only option to try my luck with ordering from HLJ (who incidentally have never charged me more than a few dollars for replacement parts).

ok

http://www.megahobby.jp/special/scoop2.html I think I can see a bit of flesh color under the helmet visor in the packaged shots. Hopefully the visor can be lifted.

I thought it was Blowsperior: http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS03855 http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS03949 And my misspelling was a typo
-
That Blowsperior is beautiful. It looks like the chest missile bays might open as well.
-
A Queadluun-Rau would be nice too What's the deal with the revopliers, what do they do specifically?
-
Hopefully Toynami wont be involved in the manufacturing process.
-
So they're blocking the Megahouse release but not CMs? I didn't think they had any influence within Japan anyway...
-
There are some places where TF:A hasn't started airing yet, so I think the second thread is good incase of spoilers as people discuss the episodes. The Black Arachnia ep was good tho. Nice spin on her character.

I guess this goes here: HLJ.com has early bird special preorders up for the Yamato Moto Slave. link .
-
I think they went more for Dreamwave's interpretation of Jetfire.
-
I know I've got mine pre-ordered. HLJ.com has the release date set for this month. link edit: Added link cos HLJ was down before.

The "weathering" varied from toy to toy as I guess it's applied by hand airbrushing. The Japanese release has the Decepticon faction symbol on it and apparently has the slightly longer tips on the tail fins. The shots of the Japanese release I have seen appear to have less weathering. There is a small comparison shot on the last image on the first page of this thread.

They are releasing these as unassembled kits at about $100 each. No complaining about them messing up the colors at least
