Interesting, on the ColledtionDX video interview they say "It's scheduled to come out by the end of the year. Hopefully we'll have it for Christmas." link About 3.20 in. I assumed the were talking about their release from the use of the word "we'll", but anyway...

It's available for pre-order at several places including HLJ.com, currently due for release in November. Unless you mean the Toynami distribution of the toy in which case I don't think there has been any news since SDCC a few months ago (different head sculpt, book-style packaging and a cheaper price point) - I think they are aiming for a pre-Christmas release.

Previously posted by SuperHobo. The CMs 1/18 Ride Armour mode was shown at Summer Wonderfest recently.

I saw my friend's pair on the weekend too. I've just re-ordered. Their armour is shinier than the promotional pics, but it looks like that that HobbySearch photographer either used a really hot light or buffed them or something... The detail on Deunan's face isn't quite as good as the promo pics either but again not that bad. And the HobbySearch gallery has the joints of the figures posed in a really unflattering manner, Deunan's sholders are almost falling out, they can be pushed in much closer. The weak points are the hips and they are easily and well covered my the belt packs. Deunan's sholder guards fall off easily too. Otherwise they are reall nice highly posable figures with a decent amount of accessories. Each figure comes wit a slip of paper warning not to twist the leg joints too far tho, but they are still highly flexible. The price is still rather high for them but they're a good alternative to their man-doll Hot Toys alternatives if your like me in not preferring large toy figures. If the Beagle figures (also 1/10) come out this well I'll be really pleased. I don't have a digital camera so I couldn't talke pics sorry.

How do you mean? I heard the Hot Toys were good
-
Thanks guys. Very disappointing.

Those things don't even look like they hve been assembled correctly. What is the source of those pictures, are they your own? If they arn't yours and you haven't removed the figures from their packaging you can return them to HLJ.com for a refund. You will have to cop the shipping charges tho.
-
Many thanks for the warning. I've just cancelled my order for them. I was hoping they would be more like scaled down versions of the Hot Toys 1/6 figures, looks like I may actually have to pay for the 1/6s after all...

I'm sure they will. There were prototype pics of Rey's side mounted pulse gun. In the back of this pic you can see the Hoquet Ride Armour in red silouette. When the Stik and Rey RAs were released the poster had Yellow's RA in purple silouette as well - that's as much as anyone knows. So it looks like it's on its way, we don't know when and no prototype pics have been released. The first confirmation reports or pics are most likley to come from dealer rooms or scans from Japanese hobby magazines. And this being a Macross forum and a Mospeada thread I think you'll find most of us like them... and some even Cavalry of the Southern Cross.

Thanks for the info Save. I'm still curious to know weather the final product will be able to stand in ride armour mode under its own weight. I'll be ordering at least 2 regardless tho. SeminNV - Yeah, the MH Blowsperior is really nice, my favourite variation of the bikes too. I don't really mind parts swapping if it results in a more anime accurate representation of the toy. "Perfect transformation" is an over-rated concept for me, but I understnd othersare turned off by large amounts of parts swapping. I'm keen on the Beagle because it looks great in all modes, even tho it possibly least resembles the line art out of the current batch of available RAs. The bike is alot more streamlined and thinner whilst the armour is alot smaller on the rider, but only death itself will stop me from owning that toy. So in short - the different companies have approached the hurdle of 'anime magic' by taking different approaches. CMs went for PT with averaged proportions, Megahouse focused on the Ride Armour mode while making the bike and wheels smaller, Beagle reinterperated the design itself. And yeah, I do the CG thing too

Tiynami 1/55 looks best there. Terrible quality toy though.

HLJ has started processing the MH Blowsperior order. Just thougt you'd like to know...

He's been around for a very long time, and very well respected in the Transformers communities. I've been ordering exclusives from him for many years and have never had a problem. Ordering is through email and rathr informal. Shipping can be really expensive tho, so make sure you get a shipping quote before placing an order. Expect a response withn a few days tho - F2F is something he does on the side as he has a full-time job as well. Otherwise I would recommend over-drive-inc.com. Similar services and prices but more formal and faster response times. F2F require a deposit, OD require full payment w/ shipping up front. Or just wait for HLJ.com to list it
-
Yeah, we need a new 1/60 thread... F2F have the VF-1J up for preorder. Does anyone know for sure if the 1J will have the grey packs shown or the green ones?
-
So what is the version on the right hand side of that picture? Is it a custom or something else? I like the designs alot but have little time for watching anime.

I got this from Overdrive.com web mail: ------------------------------------------------------------ First about the Mospeada - 1/15 VR-41H Blowsperior Ride Armor (Yellow Belmont Version) that was supposed to be released in late July. It has been pushed back until mid Augest. -----------------------------------------------------------
-
Yes, it was supposed to be released yesterday. It has been delayed untill mid August.
-
Summer Wonder Festival starts this weekend.
-
That price point is interesting. Looks like at least Toynami give good head... ...sorry
-
Cool, thanks. But how is the alt mode affected by the kibble removal?
-
It looks cool in a weird sorta way. I'm not sure what those Jolly Rogers are all about tho. I'm not sure weather to bother tracking this down or not...
-
The WAVE figures haven't been released yet so it's hard to compare them. Hot Toys are apparently re-releasing the 1/6 scale Deunan and Briareos in October.
-
I heard it's been pushed back from October to November.
