Beyond the line art pic on the bottom of the MH poster, no. link I asked a supplier earlier today about the MH Hoquet, nothing has been heard or announced, but it is still expected.
-
Overdrive has them up for pre-order at $187.99. They also have a gallery on their blog space. LINK I don't know if they would be cheaper than LOS for US residents tho

4AD is what I was mostly listening to in college as well as ripping off Vaughn Oliver's artworks . Although more Bauhaus, Cocteau Twins and This Mortal Coil rather than late 90s Brit-pop... Kirsten Hersh too.

Tober replied to nugundamII's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Thanks for the pics nugundamII Is that a Toynami Alpha or an Aoshima Legioss you hve connected to the Beta? There appears to be a fair bit of differecne in the blue hues...? -
This is the email that was sent out informing purchasers of the Beta of the price change:
-
I thought Wonderfest was in hiatus..? There was an accident or something which shut it down... or did they sort it out?
-
Did the QC improve with later releases of the Toynami MP Alpha?

Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver.2
Tober replied to Graham's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I haven't been keeping up with this cos of other stuff and I couldn't see the answers skimming through, so 3 quick questions: Has it been established yet if the Ozma version has a neck? Are the Alto and Ozma still being released simultaniously? Has Ozma's Super Pack exclusive been announced and if so how much can I expect to pay for it? Thanks. -
Let's see how well they do with the Ride Armors first...
-
Yes. If you visit Robotech.com and head into the Premium Collections you will see "MOSPEADA Legioss AFC-01I Green 1/55 Scale - $79.99" and "Masterpiece Collection Alpha Fighter - Lancer VF/A-6I - $59.99" for what appear to be th same toy. The "MASTERPIECE Alpha" is by Toynami, the "MOSPEADA Legioss" is by Aoshima. Essentially the same mold but the Aoshima is a brigter color and supposidly an inferiour toy with huge quality problems.
-
It says "Robotech Macross Toynami Masterpiece Cyclone #1 Scott Bernard" but that isn't the Beagle version in the picture, it is the proposed Gakken(?) remold that WAS going to be their Masterpiece edition before they swapped to the Beagle mold. I would be very wary of what you are looking at there.

New macross saga based movie (Robotech Genesis)
Tober replied to kamikaze_kamujin's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
The novel by Jack McKinney http://www.amazon.com/Robotech-Genesis-1-J...2608&sr=8-3 The Graphic novel by Mike Baron and Carl Macek http://www.amazon.com/Robotech-Graphic-Nov...608&sr=8-12 I read them 25 odd years ago. There was also a comic series by Jason and John Waltrip as well but I haven't read it. -
There is only the prototype model thais being reviewd currently. Production has been delayed until January/Febuary. A reliable source in Japan told me that the delay is due to a QC problem. Apparently the factories in China that produce high-end toys from Japan have not been affected by the recent closures.

Southern Cross ? Besides wasn't 'Robotech: Genesis' about the escape of the SDF-1 and it's landing on Earth before the Zentradi arrived? -
Save posted the second part of his Beagle review at Overdrive a few days ago, dunno why he didn't post here . http://www.over-drive-inc.com/overdrive-blog/info/1892.html Would be nice to know why it has been delayed for two to three months tho

I believe Alternity is mentioned at the end of the Binaltech story as the next phase of development.

Yeah, that pic is a Photoshop paintover. They took a photo of the bike that they want to modify and airbrushed the concept bike over the top to check proportions etc. That's why the brakes, internal details and wheels are more realistic looking, they haven't been retouched as much. This is a pic from the Animation Bikes book showing what was possibly a concept sketch for the police bikes (I'm not sure what the pic on the left is so I left it in): If someone is willing to do a translation I can scan and upload the interview pages at the back with Kakinuma and Aramaki..? .

There is the proto Mospeada project that looks like a collaboration between Aramaki and Nandy, but I cant read Jap. I haven't seen any other pics quite like the one on the cover of the book that include armor etc. Making of Proto Mospeada Some pics from the articles:

Cool, thanks for the info.

Is it known if he did the redesign on cover of the 'Animation Bikes' book? Click image to enlarge.
