Yep, Beagle are gathering customer support and feedback to improve their product the way that any good company would. So far there have been relatively few complaints, most are about loose fittings and the fragile stitching of the cloth material - not too sure how they can improve the fittings by the next Rey production run but hopefully they will go with an improved cloth solution... and offer a replacement red one for Stick owners too... up to them. Thanks again Save Rumour I got from a supplier is that Beagle were worried that they wouldn't have enough orders for their first production run, so maybe Toynami actually came through for them/us... So take extra good care of your Beagles, we probably won't be seeing them re-issued. Beagle

Maybe from the bottom of the red spring-like-thing in the central engine section.

There is a Macross World Beagle Ride Armor issues and suggestion thread

Beagle Ride Armor issues and suggestion thread

Offer replacement parts! Especially if there is a second run (which the Rey sorta is...) Alot of what has been said above, especially about the wind-shield being loose in bike and armour modes and the thrusters being hard to pull out from the wheel housings. 1. There is a split developing on the hinge of the white connector that connects the tank to the chest armour. 2. There appears to be a fracture developing one side of the main grey piece that sits between the wheel swing bar pivots. 3. Chest armour side pieces pop out quite easily from the central chest plate. Maybe the tab could be longer (not a huge concern). -
www.beagle-tokyo.com I couldn't find anything there as far as the MOSPEADA goes. Basically they seem to suggest following Yacolog...
-
Yep, the rider is attached via the 3 tabs at the back. The split is just from moving the piece back and forth during transformation. Transformed it about 4 or 5 times now.
-
The left white piece that connects the bike to the rider chest is beginning to split through the hinge area.

Fair enough then, although I liked MASK at the time (Saw it again a few years ago - there are some things that are better left as a fond memory alright). I actually liked Soutern Cross, although it was the weakest of the three Robotech sagas. It had a darker more gritty tone without an upbeat ending.

Do Overdrive let you cancel? I thought once you paid you were basically committed...

Ok, I'll bite. What was so bad about it? I just Googled it and watched the intro, it didn't look that bad. There was a really expensive toy from Dorvack announced recently too, the one that became Roadbuster in Transformers. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ue4w-UorA0

Yep, just a trimmed thin strip of one-sided Scotch tape applied to the ball-joint, worked like a charm

Yeah, Save said that the Mega Hobby Expo early next mont in Japan might have some info, other than that, yeah, there has been no news of a MegaHouse Fouquet release. Thanks for those clothless pics eyesonme78 I wouldn't be too concerned with the Toynami version of the Ride Armour. Afterall they're basically doing what they did with the MegaHouse release except for the packaging and the new had sculpts. They would be completely out of their senses not to be using the same factory for thir production run as Beagle used, not doing so means training new staff and setting up production in a new premesis, huge costs would be involved with that. Essentially it's not going to save them money changing factories. Assembling the Beagle RA requires high-end production assembley workers. Plus it looks like they have just learned what happens when you change to a new factory from the looks of the Maia Alpha recall... Thanks for the sticky-tape tip for the neck fix jenius, that worked really well
-
My head figure holds perfectly well but the helmeted version was completely loose, just flopped forward. Adjusting the neck screw tightened it enought to be able to hold any angle, but how tight I was screwing it was getting scarey. I would recommend tightening it about 90° at a time and letting it settle for a few minutes before tightening again. Even so it's still loose and I think I will try adding nail varnish to the ball socket from here on in, I'm worried I will strip the screw socket if I tighten it anymore. Screen shield loosely locks in but it does hold. Same with the wheel mounted rockets, they are loose but do hold. I completely agree with everything else you said too. I was expecting the helmet to be empty, the scope is too small and sits loosely well away from his eye, the groin area in ride armour just sits together without anything holding things in place. I couldn't get his helmeted head through the gap without removing it and replacing it MegaHouse style, but I was possibly doing something wrong. The two white side guards are only held in position by a light amount of tension too, the slightest nudge and they'll fall out, I'm going to try warm water to remold them slightly. The only overall disappointment for me is the way it transforms - it's not anime accurate due to the way the armour wraps around from behind instead of the front section moving straight up onto the chest. But the prototype images prepared me for that at least. To say that it is perfect transformation is a bit of a stretch, but I guess technically it is. The proportions are really good overall. Only thing that really gets to me is how high the backpack area sits above his head, It should be about 1cm lower, but I'll probably get used to it. I'm somewhat suprised that it can stand on its own reasonably stabley. It's a very limited range but completely possible, even if I nudge it slightly it stays. It's standing on my desk now but I won't be leaving it that way... Overall it's very impressive, tho possibly over-complicated in a few areas and the theme of areas being held in position by minimal tension rather than locking runs throughout. It has a feeling of being fragile but not easily breakable. If you're a big Mospeada fan then it's worth the $200+ price tag. It is a remarkable display piece but I wouldn't describe it as "solid".

Most of whom seem to be here...

Yes, PayPal and credit card. EMS Shipping only tho, no SAL.
-
Yeah, that's what I heard too Which seemed odd given that the Blowsperior is only a mild edit of the Stig/Ray whilst the Bartley is almost completely different (and why I suspect Megahouse hasn't released yet). I also wonder how Beagle plan to do the hair for Yellow and Hoquet.
-
Only a prototype of the Ray has been seen so far. No pre-orders are up yet (that I am aware of anyway). That's actually slightly less than the RRP of 24,000Y. About $269.63 USD. The origional Overdrive price was particually good tho. http://www.hlj.com/product/BEA07049
-
Yep, processed and sent! Overdrive
-
Yeah, it feels like it's been years So in theory it should leave the warehouses in about 16 hours, arriving at the distributors around end of day - about 24 hours away. Then distributors (like Overdrive) should start shipping to us next business day (Friday)... So around Monday they should start arriving to customers overseas Japanese folk will start receiving theirs tomorrow I guess...

What was the first anime that you watched?
Tober replied to taksraven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
First anime I remember seeing was Kimba the White Lion. The one that had the most impact was Robotech followed later by DYRL?, I decided to study (classic) animation because of it, much to my parents displeasure. -
That would be brilliant if you can , although last I hard WF (Wonderfests) have been cancelled...?

It would be in a previous Mospeada super thread... somewhere... here! I was going to ask you for the schematics for it, your version looked much better than what CMs ended up using.

Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver.3
Tober replied to Graham's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
My Alto and Ozma should arrive from Overdrive Saturday or Monday. Fortunately I paid upfront when the AUD was around 95USD so I don't get the current AUD to JPY slugging. The VF-11B and VF-1D will be a very different story
