  1. I placed an order on the 4th of January for a Masterpiece Rook Alpha and got an order confirmation email at the same time with payment and address confirmation details. On the 6th of January I got an email from robotech_4icc.com which contained a FEDEX tracking number. A few days later it showed up in Australia. That was my experience anyway - no problems. Their reply is vague I agree but I think you will be ok unless you haven't heard anything from them for a few more days.
  2. If they haven't sent you a shipping notice then they haven't sent it out yet. Usually it takes a few days to process the order and then send it.
  3. Thanks for the warning. ------------------- You USA guys know you're going to be seeing a local release of MP Grimlock at about half the price. It's a sure thing.
  4. A while ago I mentioned that he white side covers of my Beagle Mospeada were splitting at the connection point, well... the left one anyway. I emeiled Overdrive, they said they would do what they could. About a month went by and no reply. So I decided to try HLJ instead - within a week I have a shipping notice with no charge for the replacement parts Thank you Beagle and a BIG thank you to HLJ... who now have my Rey order.
  5. You're missing a small metal pin. Not sure how they got the scope into the cowling without it, the black 'screen' would fall straight through. I'm guessing it fell out somehow...
  6. Just noticed that Angolz has them for $10 with free shipping. Soz if posted before. http://www.angolz.com/home/productDetails....10&catId=32
  7. Just as far as removing discussion posts instead of news posts, currently there are a few at the end of page 2. Not a huge deal, just a few people who didn't read the first post. What I had in mind is what you and Save did for the Beagle suggestions and problems thread - deletion of anything not relevent. I don't subscribe to threads here because of the amount of posts, the Scoop Thread would be worth subscribing to because it delivers newsworthy info. What would be ideal is something like what TFW2005.com have on their front page - news on toys, anime, model kits etc with a link to the discussion or relevent post. But I realise that's a huge amount of work for mods and admin to impliment it.
  8. Rolf Harris is actually an incredible person, there are few performers that wear their hearts on their sleeves the way he does. That video was from the show "The Money or the Gun" where each week a different band would play Stairway to Heaven. I think .
  9. ok, I didn't mean to imply he physically sculpted them so much as re-designed them. The CollectionDX video from SDCC08 with Toynami it says in 10 minutes he drew up new heads for the Betas "and then we sculpted them"... For the 1/55 Veritechs it says "we've already sculpted the new heads" so I assume Tommy has had some input. Ambiguity and embelishment etc... Interestingly they also say that Megahouse do have the Bartley planned, but doesn't actually say to what extent.
  10. Yep, it was a MPC on display. By '1/55 Veritech heads' I meant the 1/55 Bandai Legend of Valkyrie (?) head resculpts he did (from Macross Saga).
  11. Aoshima have announced their TREAD although they displayed a MPC version: Save's post with the Aoshima announcement. Impression I got from another post from Save is that Aoshima have washed their hands of the previous Legioss release, so I assume a Dark version is out of the question. Although if the rumoured plastic gift-set is confirmed hopefully it will be them doing the re-tooling.
  12. Supposidly the Aoshima Legioss was worse then the Toynamis. Save posteed a pic of an upcoming Aoshima Blue Tlead in the last thread. Besides resculpting the Masterpiece Cyclone heads Tommy also resculpted the 1/55 Veritech heads and I thought it was mentioned that he had a hand in the look of the MP Beta head design (not sure)..
  13. +1 for the Scoop Thread. I think it needs more moderating (tidying up) but it works for me so far.
  14. Sweet song. Serge Gainsbourg composed it. His daughter Charlotte released an album a few years ago that has become a favourite of mine, 5:55. Alot of it was written by Jarvis Cocker (Pulp) and Neil Hannon (Divine Comedy) so there is a subversive side to it's melencholly sounds. It was huge in France but I'm not sure about anywhere else. Store Questions

I ordered from them a few weeks ago. They shipped the item in a plastec envelope - it arrived crushed, the blister-pack split everywhere and a CD that was inside was totally crushed too. Luckily the actual toys inside were ok, but I won't be using them again.
  16. I don't own any Animated figures however if you're going the 'ninja' theme then put Prowl on your short-list, everyone says he's a great figure (including above). Activators Bumblebee is absolute simple joy too and more in scale with some of the other deluexes. I would grab one myself but it's $20 down here
  17. They are all just as reliable as each other really, except Angolz who can be more sloppy sometimes. HLJ won't give you any shipping options if the order is more than 15000 Yen, for insurance reasons it will only ship EMS. Advantage for HLJ is that they don't require payment upfront, so seeing as the Yen is finally starting to fall... maybe it's worthwhile holding out for a bit...maybe.
  18. Ok, cool, thanks. I wonder how many replacement parts requests Overdrive and HLJ are going to get for "lost" Rey rifles and heads...
  19. Yes, but it looks odd to me, which is why I want to know if they changed it. I guess not. ---- Masterpiece Grimlock is due in two weeks.
  20. Thanks jenius Pity there are no pics of the head sculpt, but the visored version looks alright.
  21. For anyone who's interested, I noticed that Fan to Fan have the Dark Legioss listed. Looks nice but that's just too expensive to me for what it is CM Corp.: BraveGokin EX03 Dark Legioss Pilotless type (limited to 800 production) 11827JPY www.fantofan.jp Click on his email link to order. Remember to ask for a shipping quote before ordering.
  22. Thanks for the link wolfx. Some nice work in there. Seems like the next ep will run the 'hot chick' route. Head crab zombies looked a bit off too. Looking forward to it tho
  23. Nice pics, thanks. I don't mind the Toynami head sculpt as much as I thought I would - looks fine. I do prefer the darker and more opaque Beagle visor tho. The front section of the bike in your last pics is mis-transformed. The ball joint sections sit further back in the cowlings which exposes the shocks.
  24. Dose look good. Might consider it if it goes for a decent <$100 price. Do the missile bays on the chest open?
  25. Imagi Studios has indefinately ceased working on Astroboy and Gatchaman (slated for late 2010 release). Astroboy is about half finished but needs more funding. Gatchaman is still in pre-production with funding also needed.
