Comic Book movies you would like to see made.
Tober replied to Wanzerfan's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Transformers: The War Within. Not that it would happen, but I would still like to see it. -
Some of the Yamato 1/60s are on sale too. I think it's more a sign of the impact of the high Yen rather than lack of interest, at least I sure hope so... Still costs more now than I paid 6 months ago too . ---------------------------- I noticed that all three Aoshima Treads are on Early Bird too: http://www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?Word=mospeada...p;MacroType=Toy

What Comic Book Movie Do You Not Want To See?
Tober replied to DJ Loe Kee's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah, Sandman comes to mind straight away. Although it is still in pre-production Hell I think they were trying to get a movie version of Death:The High Cost of Living out... which could work. I don't want a movie version of Preacher either, even tho I hear it's also on the way. -
It's been listed as coming out in 'May' for a few months now, on HLJ and Overdrive. No need to panic yet, although pre-orders are closed on both sites.

Yeah, I didn't detect any "unbridled hostility" in danth's post either, or maybe 'nerd' is a more offensive term in some places. To me it was a relevent question untill I read Roger's message. I would like to have a book of these images too, but if that fails I would rather see them on some guy's Photobucket account than never see them. However seeing as Roger gave his word to 'Collector Y' that they wouldn't be distributed on the net then I geuss we wait to see if the Japanese can bring out a book instead. Kudos to Roger for trying to get them published in the first place.

Autorooper. I think that's Rosanna from Kiss Players nest to him as well...

Very much appreciated, thanks a lot .

Okay, how about I tackle the Quiltra-Quelamitz Class Medium-Scale Gunboat (if that's the one) and Picket Patrol Ship. That'll keep me busy for a while if you want to check up on the status of the Nous Jadeul Ger.

Cool. So what gets priority? They don't look that difficult except for the 'Nupetiet-Vergnitzs-Class Fleet Command Battleship' which would be insane unless you only see it from mid to long distance.

What sort of stuff do you guys need modeled?

That's just infectious. Like good trip-hop should be... Currently listening to 'Crystal Castles'. Interesting use of 8-bit sound systems and polarising English/French lyrics. and so on... .

Thanks allot Mog, that's awesome.

Yes, but SDCC 08 was July. Toynami released the MP in early Feb 09... Beagle in January. Rey is scheduled for release at the end of next month tho.

Windaria - a rather black fairytale, although good luck finding a version that isn't censored. Plague Dogs, a bit like its precursor Watership Down, but it wasn't as successful, and again - good luck finding an uncensored version. These are great animes/cartoons but not for children and they are mostly rather bleak.

Cool, thanks

Not really liking the nose or anime exaggerated eyeseither - they seemed to go with more realistic proportions for Stick. Everything else is good tho.

Thanks for the pics >EXO< I was wondering if they would go so far as to change the engine block detail - and they have

There is a rumoured re-release of the MPC Alpha/Legioss with Beta/Tread as a plastic set. Nothing official has been announced or confirmed. Wouldn't really count on seeing it at the upcoming show tomorrow either.

Lucky guy I was referencing some Mospeada pics and came across a foruth cutaway not on the shitajiki: http://www.robotechresearch.com/picture_ar...l_Diagrams.html -------------------------------- I have a request and this seems like the appropriate thread. Does anyone have any good pictures of Mospeada character sheets? What I'm referring to are the design illustrations that animators work from when drawing the characters, usually they have a front, side, orthographic angles with various proportions and clothing... There are a few in the Robotech Art 1 book but they are kinda small and undetailed. I'm especially interested in Yellow Belmont . Thanks.

Well, at least you can track it now. Sounds like your order was just being processed is all, they list other toys as being out of stock if they're not available so I hope you're ok.

I have the BSG ones as well as some of the 6" Transformers series (which I rather liked). Would be cool to see some Mospeada definately, especially some enemy inbits, but I too prefer the larger transforming toys. Could be these: 1/200 Macross Variable Fighters Collection
