  1. Thanks Good to hear they fixed the ball joint on the neck at least. Realistically I wasn't expecting much else. I will pick up my order from the post office tomorrow. Yeah. it's the one I'm waiting for too. .
  2. Thanks, I enjoyed that. Wern't Bauhaus born out of the same punk movement as Joy Division? Basically four ordinary guys who happened to be in the right place at the right time and stumbled into brilliance. Bauhaus had an emphasis on live preformance pieces tho, but from what I remember both bands use to attend each others gigs. I actually prefer the Bauhaus cover of Ziggy as well, but I was never a huge Bowie fan, but was a huge Bauhaus fan. Telegram Sam not so much but Rosegarden Funeral Of Sores again wins out in my humble (and biased) opinion. Peter Murphy's earliaer solo I stuff I like as well, especially 'Deep' - I was totally mesmerised when I first heard "Cuts You Up" (awful video tho). Lucky bugger, arn't the bass player and drummer brothers? I think the J is his middle initial... The drummer (Haskins?) was the one who looked 'normal'
  3. The X-Men games and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Probably others too, imdb would list them.
  4. Is it possible to actually wear these things? If so is there any description of the actual size head it would fit? I keep hearing different things about them... Thanks.
  5. Pop question: Who currently owns the rights to Mospeada in Japan? From what I've been able to gather Artmic and Tatsunoko were the origional creators. Tatsunoko were then owned by Takara who later merged with Tomy. Artmic's titles are now largely owned by Anime International Company... I can't find a listing for Mospeada tho...
  6. Skywarp? It's a Walmart exclusive. From what I remember Starscream was also a Walmart exclusive and really difficult to find in some areas. It had an Asia release too by Takara - don't know about this time tho. Starscream would have been alot more populat than Skywarp tho.
  7. Masterpiece Skywarp http://public.fotki.com/ASMzine/20090531/dsc0936.html Click on Get Original Uploaded Photo for bigger pic
  8. Thanks Save. The guy knows how to sell a product. I prefer the Beagle version too, it looks more serious and realistically proportioned. Although I think I prefer Toynami's hair sculpt a little more. Didn'y you say you got both versions last time?
  9. Should be released tomorrow (29th). I haven't heard about anyone having processing or shipping confirmations yet tho. Is there still no confirmation on weather the Toynami release will have a different head...? I'm currently more interested in the Bartley pre-order. Any semi-/official info on when that's likley to be?
  10. I second this if anyone has it
  11. Yes, the book was 'The Roadside Picnic'. which the movie was also based on. From Wikipedia:
  12. The Quiet Earth is the only obe that comes easily to mind. It doesn't really explain the science behind it tho - you would have to look it up afterwards if you're not familiar with quantum physics etc. It's a little bit like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (the game) which was based on a movie of the same name.
  13. So that 1/48 VF-25 definately transforms? Unlike the Hasegawa 1/48 YF-19... A bit OT but can anyone tell me what this is? http://blog.hobbystock.jp/report/images/etc0093/002.jpg
  14. Thanks for the pic chowyunskinny. He's looking good. As much as I like the Beagle I don't really want to see a Colonel Johnson or Shinobu Takeuchi etc repaint. They are big, expensive and similar enough to each other as it is. Although I would feel compelled to get them... I would rather have a set of the other characters, but that seems very unlikley.
  15. I would have NO problems with Jet/Skyfire as a (preferably Kawamori designed) Masterpiece F-14 Transformer. Unless he gets the color wrong... yeah, yeah
  16. Matt Wagner's 'Mage' or maybe 'Grendel' if given the proper treatments.
  17. HLJ charge retail for their products untill clearence/sale and ship close to Japanese Post costs. Angolz are in Hong Kong. The higher Japanese Yen means that postage charges are up too.
  18. Redesign them how? With an electric blender? And then randomly glue the shredded remains back together.. genius Alternators was the best TF toyline ever, no exceptions. Masterpiece a close second.
  19. Can anyone tell me if the Garlands on sale at Angolz and HLJ have had the sholder joints fixed? Or was there only ever one issue released? Thanks.
