  1. Pop quiz: Were the red and green or even Shadow Treads ever seen in Mospeada? I can't remember seeing them but it's been a LONG time since I've seen Mospeada.
  2. It makes the most sense to follow up the Regult with the Glaug, but the Invid get my #1 vote. Thanks for the poll.

    1/100 Toynami Regult

For the price it is a decent toy. Unfortunately living down here it costs more to ship than the actual product. I think most people would agree tho that it would have been awesome to have included the additional knee articulation shown on the prototype on the back of the box tho, as well as ankle joints. It's the only two things that are really missing that would have made it complete.
  4. Have there been any improvements made for the YF-19? Mine is a rather floppy mess but there is nothing wrong with the gunpod lining up, so I'm curious as to weather they tightened the arms and shoulders up since the first releases...
  5. I liked Vince DiCola's work, but Stan didn't really do anything for me - I think it suited the movie and was contemporary etc but I never listen to it otherwise. The RotF OST includes a tribute of sorts to Vince's 'Unicron's Theme' by way of Steve Jablonsky's 'The Fallen's Arrival'.
  6. Outer box is approx 15x30x52, actual box is approx 8x27x36. The poster is scrolled up and stored diagonally in a top section of the larger cardboard box.
  7. My GBP is currently attached to an 'unpainted' VF-1S. The chest should be the same as a VF-1J as it's not a 2 seater or anything... It sits there just fine, but it doesnt snap/lock into place. It is the 'missile launch effect' set. With the smoky missiles still in their box.
  8. How did you get the breast armor to lock in? My chest armor just sorta sits there. No problems with the sholders tho.
  9. Experten made a nice looking kit too. I tend to prefer their proportions even though there are some large gaps. From Wonderfest 2010: http://experten.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/201...0winterb33.html
  10. They also released some of MegaHouse's Cyclones under the Toynami brand. Unless you are only counting toys in which they had some creative contribution?
  11. I assume its floppy looking because it is a painted prototype. If those are the typical Robot Damashii toys next to it then it is basically tiny, much smaller than 1/100. That Armored VF-25S should only be about 12cm tall...
  12. Anywhere between 7 to 21 days is the normal time. Begin to worry if it goes over 30.
  13. They're there, their response time has slowed down allot tho. They used to respond within a few hours to inquiries but now it takes a few days. I hope everything is ok and it's temporary. You just have to be patient, and avoid using free webmail accounts as they are sometimes filtered out(Hotmail, Yahoo etc...). Oh, remember to check your junk folder if you are using webmail accounts too.
  14. WFC Shockwave (Gamestop Multiplayer Exclusive)
  15. Star Wars (1977) - no comparison. Always No1 in my top 5 (the rest being Blade Runner, Alien, Gattaca and Macross:DYRL? and sometimes Akira) You can bag it out for the 70s styling or acting, but everything about it remains magic to me. From the opening title scroll and the pan down to the rebel ship being chased by the Empire, through to the assault on the Death Star, it was truly 'epic' in the real sense of the word. Ralph McQuarrie is the only sci-fi designer I like more than Shoji Kawamori.
  16. So what you asking for is the different types of 1/60 mold variations excluding re-tools..? Off the top of my head: *VF-0A/S (Ghost optional) * VF-1 series including the 2 seater variants (includes the VF-1A/J/S, VF-1D, VT-1, VE-1). These come with various FAST and Super pack accessories. There's the GBP Armor that stops transformation. *VF-11B/C *YF-19 series (booster optional) *VF-21/22S series *VF-25 series (several different Super and Armor pack variations) *VF-27 (release next week)
  17. Thanks. That's what I figured after reading about all the differences between the YF-19 and the VF-19 I'd really like one as well, VF-0D too.
  18. The Bandai Kai is nice enough, I don't regret ordering it. Especially if the Yamato 1/60 is a year off... And hopefully we will see many other releases from the 100 line where as I bet we won't from Yamato. I often display my 1/60 valks in fighter mode with a smaller battroid mode (GN-U Dou usually) so it doesn't worry me. Hmm... could the VF-11B be retooled into a VF-11 MAXL easily?
  19. It was just bad timing really. Sudden over-saturation of the Mospeada line. Many Mospeada fans would have already paid for the over-priced CMs and Megahouse figures and didn't want to spend more on a reasonably expensive high-end toy. Mospeada just isn't that popular. From what I heard, if it wasn't for Toynami's involvement it may never have gone to market at all. Which is a crying shame as I can't think of a better toy that was released last year... Still makes me sad to think about what might have been for Hoquet and Belmont.
  20. That Klan looks fantastic. Looks like there is a hinge joint in the backpack for posing. There's something about describing Klan as "back heavy" that doesn't seem right...
  21. Doesn't 'DX' just mean 'DeluXe'? I assumed it's Bandai's label for high grade toys. I have the Robot Damashii Nirvash and it's transformable. I'm also wondering if the Nirvash pictured in the WF images is a different release...
  22. Great news. I was wondering why Yamato doesn't apply its figure line prowess to the Macross line... Isn't the CMs/Yamato Milia 639 figure supposed to be 1/60 scale?
