Was I there last year? No, but I got to hear about it. Someone uploaded the Annandale shows to YouTube. I saw Interpol the night before at The Enmore (They were tight but the sound was sh*t) so I wasn't really in the mood for being kicked and elbowed in the face, so I was near the back at the Annandale the next night. 'Lightsabre C*cksucking Blues' was awesome tho - head's throbbing just thinking about it. I wanted to see The National too, but couldn't make it. I didn't even know Tumbleweed are still around... Next band I want to see will probably be Yeasayer in about a month.

You could email HLJ.com and see if they are going to stock it. I'm not sure if Overdrive still order in exclusives, but you could email them too. $100 + 3rd party fee + shipping is a hefty kick for a few pieces of cloth tho.

I can't give you much help with the kit other than to recommend Googling resin kit advice. Just thought I'd point out that there is a strong rumor that Samus will be an upcoming Revoltech figure, if that is more your thing. link

I wouldn't be prepared to take a second bite if the only differences were the arms and coloring. Unless it was severely marked down for clearance, maybe. Even the bridge section not splitting would seem 'wrong' to me. Props to Yamato for inquiring tho.

I had 2 spare pieces on that sprue, as well as JasonC, so that seems normal.

I scanned the instructions, printed them out and began literally crossing off the pieces from the illustrations to see if I was missing any. The piece I am missing is a10 - part of the hatch assembly. I thought the material would be really hard. It's sorta like a cross between POM and ABS, a bit rubbery. Is that what the SDF-1 is like too?

I'd recommend the later release of the YF-19. The earlier releases were problematic too. Generally it's a good idea to avoid eBay for Yamato stuff. Amiami or HLJ. Others I checked are sold out.
