  4. They are not strictly Wonderfest exclusive though. They can also be bought through Good Smile Company's website. Apparently Good Smile Company also intend to open their website exclusive figures to overseas customers : http://www.facebook....15190685142
  5. From the anime 'The Big O' comes a figma of the main character, Roger Smith! He comes with a three expressions - a standard face, a face wearing sunglasses and a shouting face. Also included is an openable briefcase and an extra arm part to recreate the scenes where Roger calls the Big O - "Big O, Showtime!!"
  6. Never thought I'd actually see the VF-2SS resin kit in person. Thanks PeterB for bringing it along. Many thanks to gamblor916 from otca.cam.au for constructing and painting the Yamato 1/60 Regult in time for the display. Thanks to ruskiiVFaussie for the Con, cake and pics.
  7. So is there any chance of this "someone friendly" allowing the Fuke to be reverse engineered into a conversion kit, or is that not an option? Beagle But happy that they gave us what they did.
  8. I'm thinking that the upcoming Hasbro release is why they are happening at all.
  9. Yep, BBTS is a 3rd party import store. Not even www.yamatotoysusa.com stock Macross product.
  10. New proto shots of Robocop. They have included the holster and interface spike.
  11. By the looks of the listed sellers it seems that these releases are for Hong Kong. The AB and VF-X were mail-away exclusives for Macross Chronicle Magazine in Japan. Takara Tony do similar releases with Transformers for Japan and Asia for their exclusives.

  17. HKCollectibles.com has had it up for pre-order for a while at $230.60 + shipping.
  18. "When one townie falls in the forest, can anyone hear it?" The Hold Steady - One for the Cutters
  19. I'm following it, but I think it's pretty much standard TF fare. Just a remix of previous TF stories - the possibility for humans to be the 'greater' evil is interesting, but I wonder how much/well that will be developed. Still, Animated started out in a similar manner and became a favorite. I don't mind Miko or Jack so much, it's Raph (200+ IQ kid... sigh) that gets on my nerves.
  20. The TakaraTomy 'United' line has more consistent plastic/paint coloring and a higher level of detailing generally. It varies from being barely noticeable to completely different (eg 'United' Tracks has metallic paint and the G1 flame whereas the Hasbro 'Reveal the Shield' Turbo Tracks has blue plastic and the tribal tattoo flame decal). The USA and Japanese markets vary in demographics. Hasbros TFs are aimed primarily at children from 5 to 12, whereas TakaraTomy aims more towards older collectors who will pay more for additional detail. Stores like BBTS have to pay additional import fees to bring the Takata product into the USA. The price of a deluxe in Japan is about 1800 to 2300 yen (about $20 to $26). Down here in Australia a Hasbro deluxe retails for about $25 to $35, 3 to 4 times what the US market charges, due largely to import fees - so allot of the time it can be just as expensive to import the TT version from Japan.
  21. The wave with Thundercracker and Wheeljack is announced for 'Febuary'. Unreleased so far.
  22. The car is an injection mold in white only. The lights are clear plastic. Paint and glue are required. There are water slide decals.
  23. Yamato exclusives often end up at HLJ.com. You could try emailing them and asking if they intend to stock it.
  24. If you're still interested in obtaining one Fantofan.jp are still taking orders for 9400JPY + shipping, while stocks last. Ryan usually answers his email within 48 hours.
  25. Has it been confirmed that this will be an actual Revoltech release? It looks more like a garage Revoltech joint kit. Looks great either way tho.
