  1. Amiami have opened up their pre-orders too. Doesn't the S have a neck piece?
  2. Get a feel for the toy and see if you're comfortable with the transformation, regardless of the broken shoulder. Transforming to car it takes a fair bit of effort and patience as everything has to line up exactly, otherwise it won't look right. (FWIW, Rodimus is my least favorite Masterpiece, and I own all of them). If the shoulder was broken straight out of the box it may have already been broken by some kid and returned.
  3. If you're still looking Anime Export appear to have it in stock.
  4. Pre-orders closed a while ago. You'll have to wait 3 weeks for the mass release.
  5. From what I've heard - The show's title, roughly derived from 'Motor Speeder', was originally centered on the bikes. Aramaki was requested to introduce a transforming jet similar to the Valkyrie due to it's popularity. The Tread was then added by the studio as an afterthought. The Beagle Mospeada is my fave toy after the 1/48 Valk. I'm still miffed the line was canceled after we were so close... As for the mind-controlled Inbit, they gained autonomy when they evolved to the human form, at which time they began fighting amongst themselves etc...
  6. Three weeks. Thanks for update. Kinda looks like the head lazers can splay...
  7. Good question. From what I vaguely remember the Beagles sold pretty well for a premium toy... maybe the Rey didn't. Near nil development cost and the ability do distribute through their online shop to people willing to accept a premium price, would be part of my answer. If they got support from Toynami then there would be an overseas market for the Robotech fans too - the Scott sold pretty well, the Rand not so well. Yeah, it's a moot point, but fun to speculate.
  8. Pity Yamato didn't pick up the pieces from Beagle going bust... Didn't the two have shared contract designers?
  9. If the Bartley was the second release..? We'll never know I guess. The rumor I heard was that without Toynami's support we never would have got a first release.. Beagle were the last to the party and had the most expensive piece, which was delayed multiple times over 3 months. As for "giving the fans something never had before", part of the problem was that suddenly the market was over-saturated with ride armors - CMs, MegaHouse and then Beagle. CMs was the only one to finish the line, ride armors and Legioss/Treads.
  10. Um... you do realise that as far as QC goes there is the distinct possibility that the new VF-25s will be just as flawed as the YF-29? Loose hips and shoulders etc...
  11. Fair enough. I do like the WAVE interpretation tho. The squat proportions almost look goofy, but that picture m0n5t3r just posted is exactly what came to mind when I fist saw it. - a more padded and beefier version. I don't think there is a definitive version of the Legioss, but you seem to be on the right track with your kit.
  12. Mind telling us exactly what you don't like about it? It is after all just a non-transforming $30 kit. Not some supposed 'Masterpiece'...
  13. "The Opening" by Saltillo Or in HD: http://vimeo.com/9330391
  14. Tiny air bubble on the right chest window. Almost invisible unless a bright reflection is on it.
  15. Takara designer Hasui Shogo has posted an interesting image to his twitter account of what appears to be MP-10 Convoy wearing carved up G1 Ultra Magnus trailer/armor. ---------- My MP-10 order left Japan yesterday. Until it arrives I'll continue to keep hitting F5 on the tracking page like it will make a difference...
  16. Pre-order discount is usually around 20-30% off for premium toys now.
  17. Pre-orders have now started. Eg. Amiami
  18. Thanks for the pics. It looks nice, but the pro builds always do. Hopefully there will be other releases from WAVE beyond the Legioss repaints.
  19. Genesis Climber Mospeada AFC-01H Legioss Armo-Soldier 1/72 Plastic Model[WAVE] kit up for pre-order at Amiami. No pics yet. I haven't seen anything in any of the hobby mags either.. ?
  20. It's a FPS with RPG elements, a bit like Fallout 3 in that regard. Also like Fallout 3, no, you don't need to have played the other games in the series, they are only occasionally referenced - although I'm probably a long way from the end.
  21. Damn! Mine has become loose as well. It was posed in an A-stance, when I picked it up the legs flopped straight down. It can still hold dynamic poses, but not in mid-air.
  22. HLJ pre-orders are open again.
  23. ^ Now that's what I call quite good. This is "Basstation" by Girls Against Boys - - if for no other reason than there are 2 basses and has the name Basstation
  24. Pre-orders seem to be sold out everywhere, so there's possibly not much point advertising/promoting at this time.
