The fast packs are much easier to create and construct than the Valks themselves. So it's easier to fill orders. And realistically the maximum amount of orders for fast packs won't be larger than the Valks sold. I was told by a Japanese vendor years ago that booking high-end factories isn't easy or cheap. So what I'm saying is that it costs a lot more to make Valks than fast packs, as Bandai wouldn't need high-end labor to make the packs.

I hope that's just an oversight too. Glad to see Klan in there tho. Seems strange that amazon.jp hasn't listed yet either, might be making Japanese fans a bit anxious...

Yes Asia have re-listed for $227.69 (includes shipping to North America, or $233.99 inc international shipping). Hardly a bargain, but it's an option. I don't know if they charge upfront or not.

I tried exactly that with HLJ for the VF-171EX. Short story: didn't work.

It actually says you have to contact them to change your email address, and customer service only operates standard business hours Mon-Fri, and the weekend started there 3 hours ago. They have great customer support tho.

Probably. Must be people running scripts to happen that fast... I hit the preorder button on Hobby search as soon as it was listed, but by the time I went through checkout it was no longer available.

Have a second look at that illustration, the perspective is way out - the further engine is larger than the closer one, especially the fin. I wouldn't be placing much faith in the angles or proportions shown there.

The fighter sculpt looks great. The color scheme... not so much... I would definitely prefer Hikaru's 2012 scheme. Maybe they will include stickers/decals..? Or maybe the illustration's colors are as accurate as its proportions...

How much were the Hasbro MP Optimus, Grimlock and Starscream when they were released? Wern't they roughly half the price of the Asia/Japan RRP too? Hasbro's Rodimus didn't include the trailer but included a target master instead. Harder to make a direct comparison there. -
