Thanks for the pics. No updates from M.E.F (Macross Entertainment Factory)? Just asking as they shared space with Yamato at the last Wonfest... Was looking forward to seeing the Ghost, Lancer etc.

I'd put money down for a VF-2SS in a heartbeat.

DYRL BD Remaster - the Good.......and the BAD.
Tober replied to SCOOPUDA!'s topic in Movies and TV Series
Re-read what I wrote. I did imply that the movie as a whole had changed mood. I'm not happy about it, but I'm just not that upset enough about it either. The first time I saw DYRL it was a VHS copy. It ended with a fade to black with Minmay tapping her foot - no concert footage afterwards. That's my preferred version, not my preferred format. If an uncensored or fan-edit version comes out with the scenes restored, I'll happily grab it. DYRL? is amongst my 5 favorite movies along with Alien, Blade Runner, Star Wars and 37°2 le matin (Betty Blue), so maybe I'm conditioned to director edits... -

Yeah. It's ironic to me that the head-stomp and decapitation seemed like juvenile violence compared to the rest of the movie. So to have them removed to accommodate a 12+ age rating... At the same time excessive bloody violence and 80's OVA anime are kinda synonymous to me, so I have mixed feelings about their censorship... -
Yikes! at The Bat price. Even if I could afford it I'd need the space, the Tumbler, and then the cast... nope.

Out of curiosity, is there a price announced for Hot Toys 'The Bat'?

Well that's a nice kick in the nads. I won't cancel my order, but I'm disappointed if it's as bad as it sounds... Maybe Bandai will release a renewal version next year... -
Is it wrong that I'm liking #A's licensed stuff more than their own..? Like previously mentioned, I'd prefer the Halo Chief, if they get the license for that. A bit OT, but apparently the 3A REX is on schedule to ship end of August. Yep.

In the DX line? There was the clear VF-25F. Several in the 100s line and model kits.

Battroid looks good, fighter looks weird. I'll try to get one, but I won't put in much effort.

There is an add-on for Firefox called Alert Box we are using that scans specific text.

There's some really nice stuff you've got going on there. Looking forward to seeing more of the reactive armor. Sorry to hear about your hours being reduced. There's a lot of that going around, although CQU are looking for lecturers if your around that area.

The Yamato helmets are too big imo, and overpriced even when available from HLJ. That DOT is nice, but there is too much variation for me to consider it.

Yeah, that's where my pre-orders are too. It was your links I followed there. Usually if it's an instant sell-out at Amiami it means there's going to be high demand after release.- 16669 replies

Possibly just canceled stock from other buyers, you don't really have anything to lose.

So requesting shipping, and then making the appropriate separate shipping payment differs from Anime Export's system in what way... exactly..? Similar with Tokyo Hunter; payment upfront then shipping invoice when in stock/confirmed. Although you could have avoided the 'dilemma' by reading the courtesy email they sent out informing you that they would be changing the system and could choose either option then. HLJ don't request payment until the items are in stock, don't have penalties for cancellation, and are willing to source missing/broken parts even if you aren't a registered customer. Their return policy is uncontested amongst any online shop I know of. The Private Warehouse system was introduced by popular request as an option to reduce shipping charges. Combined with their 20% off EMS shipping it's convenient for people who don't mind waiting to save on shipping.

Oh, okay. About half the size of the 3A REX is still pretty good. Thanks.

Is that fully crouching mode 'legit'? I haven't played MGS 4 yet, but I don't remember seeing any pics of REX compressed like that. If it's 1/72 scale it's going to be pretty small.
