    Savvy advice, as long as you're cautious. As I understand it; NY send an invoice whereas HLJ can automatically deduct you depending on your payment agreement. I opted to pay my proxy in full, to avoid any market crash calamity between here and the new year. The AUD can get really unstable. Can you use PayPal to 'freeze' the amount by creating a JPY account and placing the funds in it? I'm pretty sure you can, but not 100% certain, or if there might be fees...

    Japanese food is good, just need to bring clean socks . I arrive around 8am'ish, so should be able to make my way to the restaurant. Might have a CMs Minmai somewhere. No Sheryls. Will check early morning.

    The Document books are great. A lot of nice images in there. 005 focuses on the SDF-1 - concept sketches, orthogonal views and line art. Some color pics from DYRL too. I'm not sure what the MacrossWorld policy on scans for ongoing publications is...

    I remember reading that Shinji Aramaki did the designs for the initial MASK series/toys. Did he do Captain Power too? I also seem to remember reading that he was one of the original Micro Change designers and his credits included Cassette Man, who later became Transformers Soundwave..?

    Really, I'd just leave it alone. From what I remember PVC and enamel-based paints will result in melting. Acrylic should normally be okay, but I would expect it to add to the problem and delay the drying if the plastic is still damp. Oh, and I'm NOT an expert. This is just what I remember from figure building and painting years ago.

    Checked mine today. No problems with the plastic. If plastic isn't mixed properly (oils) then you get the problem you are experiencing. The only answer is to leave it alone in a cool dry place - try not to get fingerprints, residue or dust on it, cool water should be harmless.

    I thought EMS was only dependent upon weight, not package size..? Otherwise Amiami would be near criminal. Half the content of their packages are paper.

    Watched it last night. The blurry to sharp scan scenes are noticeable, but not terrible. The head stomp and decapitation are kinda weird tho and do stick out. Flashback was okay. Was it shown at cinemas or direct to video? Given that it uses stock footage and video effects there was probably never a better than PAL video resolution produced. No problems with region encoding down here.

    I would like to see a 1/60 Glaug as a toy or kit. Maybe the 1/3000 SDF-1 Macross. If I could choose any it would probably be the VF-11 MAXL or VF-2SS (I know...) Realistically, it will probably be the YF-19 v.2

    I'm only going to get the one after all. If it was the Flashback color scheme I'd get two, but... Hopefully later there will be a blank customisable version. Good to see that there is a lot of interest for it tho.

    Yeah, things haven't been the same since their new system started. I'm still in the '10+ years without a problem' group, but I try to keep an eye on store feedback. Thanks.
