Come on, I can't believe that people are arguing so much about this film. Let's look at the reality of it: * Ridley Scott sat down, watched "Alien: Resurrection" and decided he could do a better parody. * He created a film that copied "Aliens" on nearly every single major plot point that was also based on an existing intellectual property. * This film he created, known as "Prometheus" demonstrated that Ridley could not disprove Einstein's Theory of Stupidity: "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." * Much spamage. * End of story one.
