So you expect people who don't like a scheme to buy it..? At an inflated price even? So does this mean you have every Valkyrie that's ever been released? Seeing as you "support the franchise"? All the weathering editions etc too?

And others weren't surprised at all... I'm happy to see Arcadia continuing the VF line with custom schemes, but I see this one becoming the next Angel Birds.

Yeah, that's the theory that I've arrived at too... Which traditionally means it's wrong. (I've just finished the first book). Heavy episode tonight. I was actually warned it was going to be harsh, but wow... I gather this means book three will stretch well into season 4. -

Would be better if the prankster got pranked. Surely someone who's fluent in Japanese could tweet the Yamato/Arcadia guys this thread to see if there's any way to get Hasegawa's other custom schemes onto Arcadia Valks. Maybe some of those Masterfile schemes too... Couldn't hurt to try...

Discussed many times. I was told a Toymani rep at one of the hobby/toy shows said that if Beagle are finished with the 1/10 Ride Armors then so are they. Beagle underwent liquidation a while ago.

HA! Called it! Looks good, but it doesn't look right without the FAST packs. I don't think I've ever seen it without them before. Looking forward to seeing some other Hasegawa schemes too. The 30th Anniversary is fully tampoed for the same price.

Yeah, I'd like to support Arcadia as I did Yamato, but they make it difficult for me by releasing Valkyrie schemes I simply don't want. If it is a limited release then I guess it will sell well enough regardless of weather I get one or not tho...

You don't pay upfront with Otacute pre-orders so you're protected by PayPal anyway. Sad to see them go tho.

Why not ask them a bunch of useful questions about the continuation of the Macross product line, instead of disrespecting them..? The reason for the 'no photo' signs is usually that they want to sell exclusive images to hobby magazine publishers. A good description of what you see is usually enough.

They're bound to do a Grace/CF version of the VF-27 as well. I thought the RVF-25 was the last time I would have to go through this crap.

Yeah, the Betas were by Aoshima (I think) and the Cyclones were by Megahouse for the standard and Beagle for the MPC. Toynami distributed.

It's an interesting theory actually. If HG negotiated a deal with Yamato they could conceivably use the V2 molds for distribution in their regions, for both Macross and Robotech brands, as well as a few other molds. The Yamato Garland was sold through robotech.com. I think it's just bad blood and a fear of Kawamori not liking it that prevents it from happening.

Amazon.co.jp has the VF-171 in stock now. Maybe they will get the VF-29 later as well, but you'd need a proxy. Otherwise, NY will probably list additional stock later today. Best of luck to those yet to pre-order.

Pity AE are so stingy with their discounts on Bandai products, but at least I have one ordered and paid for.

Amiami and Hobby Search offer better discounts. HLJ and AE are closer to retail, which in this case is about 5000jpy higher than usual.

Half-way. I know gerwalk is a mode unto itself, but I always thought it's creation was serendipity (happy accident). -
This seems to be a reasonably unbiased demonstration, although they don't review the result you can see the build resolution, Still a long way off what you can expect as an end result from Shapeways, or other 3D Printing houses.
