That looks really good from here. What fabric did you use? The only thing that strikes me as out is the color and shape of Yellow's visor, it should be longer, coming down to the base of the helmet.I think you mentioned a scratch build, the Beagle helmet is factory sealed/glued.

Thanks! The project has been on ice for about 9 months now as I ran into problems with getting the sabers to work properly while trying to keep the parts as line art accurate as possible. I haven't really started the engine block or seat/exhaust parts yet, or the head and helmet. Maybe I'll get the parts done by end of year... --------------------------------------------- The cowling cover is usually blue as seen in the anime and art references. I think it is only blue white in the box art, which has the extra detailing MegaHouse used.

Just got my shipping payment request from Anime Export. They say the Japanese Obon holidays are currently causing transport and shipping delays.

As per Hobby Search's FAQ, I emailed them with my order number, the product number, my name and a description and photo of the problem. They asked me to make sure the part hadn't fallen off somewhere, I confirmed and they sent me a tracking number for the replacement part - I was somewhat suprised they were able to help, I was expecting a partial refund offer, or having to return the Valk to them for a refund. HLJ used to offer a replacement part service, but now I think they restrict it to their customer's orders only. They were able to help with 'replacement parts from Yamato and Takara previously. It might be worth contacting them about it.

Hobby Search just sent out a replacement piece for my missing VF-25F cannon. Which also implies I won't have spare parts.

Okay... One of mine is missing a hip-piece. Depending on what solution Hobby Search offers I might have spare fins... Or if someone wants a cheap F sans the hip-piece that's swapped out for the super/armor parts... Depends on what HS have to say.

Wasn't the turn-around from final prototype to production about six months for Yamato..? If so this might see release early in 2014 rather than later...

That was my theory too. Takara and Tomy did the same thing to cut costs and stay competitive. ----- I'm sure I remember seeing Arcadia's name around before the 'merger'. The VF-4G was web exclusive. I highly doubt they will release that scheme again. Maybe someone at todays Wonderfest can ask Arcadia these questions themselves, but they probably wouldn't want to come across as being totally stupid...

I had painters do some work a few weeks ago. I put sheets over my cabinets and said they were bookcases. The stuff on my desk I put in a box till the coast was clear. When I have friends over they know I'm a geek, so it's the ones with children I'm more concerned about. Most boxes have something similar to this on them: This means that if one of their kids touches my toys I will strangle them. And their kids. It's the law! .
