  1. Yep. Doesn't mean I have to like it tho. Just a shame, to me personally it's the only thing that really sticks out.
  2. The matte finish sure helps to highlight the chest gap. Ah well. Thanks for the new pics.
  3. So... Broadblast with Steeljaw as MP-23 and Rewind/Eject/Ramhorn/Slugfest paired up for 24 and 25..? Intriguing.
  4. Ok, cool. If it's payment now I can only afford one tho. Given a few weeks I can afford a second one.
  5. I'd be down for one, maybe two. What time-frames are you looking at for payment and completion?
  6. Post in here if you do. I'll be up for one or more. Saves me trying to do it myself too...
  7. What is in the book? An earlier post suggests it's about Tatsunoko Productions more than Mospeada..? Looks great. Are you going to do much more on it?
  8. Sorta. There was a second special edition set as well wasn't there?
  9. Do you have the Amazon Jp links for the Mospeada sets? I just don't think I can justify the cost tho.
  10. I was expecting around $300 somewhere. Given store pre-order discounts that should be roughly right.
  11. Lol, was thinking about height just a few hours ago... Houquet is about a head height smaller than Yellow or Stig. With Rey about halfway between them. For the Beagle Ride Armor I'd make her the same height to avoid headaches and having it out of proportion. If it's just her in her biker outfit then I'd go for actual height. I think she was supposed to be quite young too, about 14 or so...
  12. MAKE did a comparison list about a year ago with that owl's nostrils only being reproduced on the Afinia H-Series (aka origional Up Plus). I'm not sure how the Up Plus 2 compares to its predecessor. Do you actually own one?
  13. Are there any reviews comparing the UP Plus 2 to Shapeways output? Photos etc.
  14. I modeled Yellow's head years ago, I'm not sure how well it will look on a Beagle tho. It would have to be simplified as all of the fine detail would be ignored by a 3D printer; anything less than 0.2mm.
  15. No. So if the visor was 3D printed it would need to be recast in transparent resin. Recasting is sorta necessary anyway. EDIT: Dang, late again.
  16. Oops, Rapid Prototyping - 3D printing like Shapeways etc.
  17. Ah, cool! I thought with your interest in the 1:1 helmet maybe you scored that batch of proto heads. I pulled apart a helmet version head the other day... That was an interesting experience... If I can RP a Yellow Belmont head, is there any way to tampo or decal the details on? Or would they have to be painted?
  18. Is that a Beagle proto or a recast?
  19. Looks a lot like yours...
