The amazing thing about the Regult kit was that everything except for the transparent resin lights was made of HDP. I don't think it even required glue. If they used ABS and some diecast for the ratcheting/detentured joints it might have been fine.It would have been relatively cheap too seeing as it is no more complex than the Queadluun Rau. Possible releases could include the scout and light and heavy missile variants. DYRL color scheme, maybe... Otherwise it's probably just a matter of time until someone creates a 3D printable model...

Nice work. That model needs separate parts to fit in the Regult anyway. Revoltech/Ball joints are the obvious way to go.

No, the weak points are the ratchets in the legs. As Ignacio Ocamica said, they need reinforcing. It is possible to achieve a wide range of poses, but the slightest knock and it collapses downwards. Nice work IC. I like the clean look.

Anime Export have good prices and ship fast, however after my last ordeal with them (involving a Masterbard chargeback) I won't be using them again. They require payment upfront and that shipping date is more than six months away, so I'll wait for HLJ, Amiami or HobbySearch to open their orders. Otherwise there are the Hong Kong dealers, which give you cheaper shipping and tend to include the Amazon extras and coins, if that's your thing. -

Okay, that was rather badly phrased... Can the cannon pivot or be positioned so that it rests just above the shoulder, instead of above the head/body as you had it positioned earlier photos? More like in these illustrations:

Valve tend to like people who run with their ideas. I'm kinda sure you'll be able to use generic USB devices. I would much rather use a trackball than 'analogue' sticks for FPS games. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

I haven't seen the movie, but I gather it doesn't follow the book much, if at all from the trailers I saw. The book is a series of interconnected interviews. There is one about a defecting Chinese nuclear sub that provides power to an island that many survivors that fled by water made it to.

I'm not sure Black Friday Sales are that common in Japan, or anywhere outside the USA/Canada... I don't think you can cancel orders at any of the other stores anyway (except NY), not without warning or blacklist penalties anyway - not worth the hassles IMO. Maybe if you ordered with NY you could get them to price match HLJ... maybe...

Order a discounted one first to make sure they still have stock. When you get the order confirmation email go into your account and edit your previous order, setting the quantity to 'CANCEL', then confirm - it will take about 15 minutes for the new order to show up in your account. EDIT: No worries Hope they don't blacklist me. I did this to my other Arcadia pre-orders too...
