About five years ago I pre-ordered two sets of Ghost packs for the RVF-25. AE only sent out one. When I contacted them about it they ignored me. PayPal's dispute window was only 60(?) days back then, so I had to file a reverse charge-back through my credit card/bank. That got their attention ("sorry, your email was lost/filtered etc...") and they refunded me. Boarding house accommodation amongst students and lower income earners in Tokyo is rampant/common. So there would be plenty of TWE accounts with the same address. From what I gather, you could only order up to two VF-31As per account, and BANDAI didn't fulfill all of the orders that had two, limiting them to one instead of two. So yeah, I doubt BANDAI would even care about proxy distributors. More likely a case of them not prioritising Macross over another product. Or maybe another factory problem all together... Whatever, they just didn't make quota on time and have probably moved on... They haven't closed my account. They sent a refund just before I was about to start the PayPal dispute.

Anime Export aren't any better. Terrible communication, and it then takes a PayPal dispute to get their attention. ---------------------- Today I requested and received my refund from NY. The NY ticket response said the PayPal refund was out of date, but it was refunded back to my credit card as I was just about to make the dispute. I ordered on the 20th of October. My theory is that a bunch of proxies that NY have used didn't receive their two orders from BANDAi, or auctioned them themselves, leaving NY high and dry.

They have did release the exclusive original DX Super/Armor sets with the VF-25s as a bundle, but again not a straight re-issue of the Super and Armor sets. So theoretically they could re-issue the 31A with different contents. Theoretically... I wouldn't be placing any faith in it though. After-all they didn't do it for the Renewals when they had a golden opportunity.

My GMs collection is still unbroken, including the initial MOSPEDAS, but I remember some people gluing the windscreens on, for that initial batch at least. Those ride armors were fiddly and loose. I think I still have a complete collection of the CMs Legioss and Treads, as I really liked them (initial prices were ridiculous though). Fun toys and mostly looked good, even if the proportions were off (same could be said for the Beagle MOSPEDAS though ) Yeah, three more weeks till end of month... wondering which will come first, the invoice or another delay.

They can look good, but the problem with the earlier CMs releases was that they were fragile and prone to breakages straight out of the box.

I ordered through NY as well. Order placed 2017-10-20 00:05:05. I'm in Australia. No shipping notice yet. For what it's worth: I ordered a Transformers Masterpiece BAPE exclusive from them a few years ago. It's value increased rapidly upon release date. I got an email from NY saying that the box was damaged and refunded me, no options given. Interestingly, the same thin happened to another member of TFW2005 - exactly the same email too. 'Integrity' isn't something I associate with Nippon-Yassan, they are a sly bunch (but you already knew that).

If the Sentinel helmet is as easy as Beagle's was to open up, it will be a pain in the arse to swap out the visor.

Thanks, they might say something, but wouldn't bet on it. Is there another revised shipping date? Last I heard was April. I'm on phone, so tricky to check. I'm still half expecting another delay...

It shouldn't be this difficult. Is there really no one here who can contact Sentinel to ask if the visor seen in the pics SuperHobo posted a few pages ago is the same as the production run? The recent promotional images might have been Photoshopped or lit explicitly to show the detail and cause the visor to appear lighter in color. It would probably take a person fluent in Japanese to properly ask that.

From what I remember, Yamato stopped responding to most of Graham's emails after becoming Arcadia. He gathered feedback through the forum and gave it to Yamato to consider. Most of the other members here who had contact with the Japanese toy makers have left or are inactive. Yamato didn't read the forums though, they barely speak English, and it would just be confusing. You could try contacting Sentinel at info@sentinel-toys.com . When I asked them about the release date for the Stick back in very early January, they just said to watch Facebook for updates from marketing. So I don't think it would get very far... You would need to ask for a company representative willing to pass on views from the international market - and already we have people here who like and don't like the helmet design. Or ask if they would consider including a variant this far into production. Or include two with the Rey release as an extra incentive... along with the missile launcher!!

So you weren't here back when Graham had a direct line to Yamato..? And, yeah, they did use to listen for the most part. Either way, I agree with what you and seti88 said. It's not going to change at this point. It could just be the lighting making the visor's details more obvious, at least that's what I'm hoping...

The 1D is the only two-pilot Valkyrie in SDF Macross. Given that BANDAI have started releasing the other two-pilot Valks, I would say it shouldn't be too far away. Or you could buy the Super Ostrich and the VF-1D Virgin Road to get a 1D.

Okay, thanks! I was trying to work out heights last night and the scale chart (if official) doesn't work out. For all it's faults the ET Legioss isn't that bad. but the middle vertical area is too thin. And the head looks too small to me as a result.

What scale is the ET Legioss? By my calculations it's roughly 1/42...In 'Soldier' it's 20 cm tall and I think a Legioss is supposed to be about 8.5 meters tall.

Yeah, there's no evidence I've seen to suggest that the delays are due to QC problems. I have two of each on preorder, and keeping $800 put aside isn't easy...

The second delay was announced weeks ago. NY can be pretty sluggish with their updates. The delays could be for any number of reasons. CNY factory delays, QA problems, other releases taking priority... There was some update on their FB today about Shin Getter. Or maybe they didn't get enough pre-order numbers...

The original Beagle release was delayed a few months as well. If what I heard is true, it almost didn't go to market. There should be the ET Legioss Zeta and Iota prototypes at least. Anything else is a bonus. I wonder if they will do a drone version too...

I think jenius had some contact with Sentinel at a convention a while ago and they had an intetest in expanding the line... I hope that's right. Four weeks until Wonderfest, so maybe something more then. Hopefully the Stick MOSPEADA will be released prior.
