Oooohhh... I like the console colletion. Even if it lacks a bit of the old-school. NESter DC, I'm guessing? Oh yeah... if the cable box has HDMI or DVI out, you can get HD off that, too. And in a form that's digital, and thus essentially immune to interference, at every possible point. Yeah I got also the old consoles (Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, SNES, etc, just no room to put them) But I do have the Roms for Dreamcast (NES, Genesis and NES), so I just keep the consoles in the closet.

I loved Axis and Allies and I love strategy games, they say it is alot like A&A but with alot more crap. Anyone have bought this?

He was so much scarier in Leon/The Professional. even though his performance in Leon was top notch, his dracula was just a masterpiece.

I already had cable with comcast, so I went there yesterday to find out how much more was the HDTV service, and they said $5 a month, so I'm gonna give it a try for a month. Currently the cable box is hooked up to my TV with those Coaxial cables, should I ditch that and hook up the box with component cables?

MS makes a standard HDTV cable set for the X-Box that should be $20-30. You can also get a set from Monster Cable for $100 or so. . . personally, I've gradually come to the realization that Monster is a total rip off. Unless you have special needs for super-shielded cable and/or you notice any problems with the less expensive stuff. . . go with the $20-30 one. And, this is coming from a guy with four Monster component video cables in his HT setup. So, well, I'm not totally immune to their marketing hype. But, each time I bought one (I don't like to take chances with component video), I felt violated. Cool, I didnt see them at Circuit city or Electronicques boutique, I'm gonna give it a try at Best Buy. BTW, just bought the TV. Thanks for the input all.

I already have the componen cables for ps2, which I bought years ago. Do I buy also component cables for the xbox and GC? if so, which brand?

I've enjoyed most of his popcorn-flicks, and transformers wasn't much more than some popcorn fun, as long as they don't include some painful romance subplot (Ala Pearl Harbor), it should be fun to watch.

Yeah, I mostly will use for DVD's, Video game consoles, I watch tv too, but I dont think ill get the converter from my cable company, and I think u have to pay a monthly fee to get the DHTV signal right? Space is also an Issue, I measured that TV, and it fits perfectly, I can't get any bigger, as it wont fit in my room. But I've seen Philips, Sanyo, Sony (30" widescreen hdtv) also, and they price range seems to be about the same. But somehow, this one strike me the nicest when i saw it at the store.
