better than I thought, not good, but not completely terrible, they could of hired a much better director, but the casting was good. It's an ok, popcorn film. 6.5/10

That being said, Burton's film is supposed to be a more literal transaltion of the book. From what I can recall, Roald Dahl hated the original movie, and this new one seems to have had input from Dahl's widow. At least the bed-ridden grandpa won't be getting out of the sack and singing that golden ticket song or whatever. Okay, back on topic... grandpa Joe was the best!

It had to do with some radiation or something that came from a crashed satellite. Really? I live right by where the original Dawn of the Dead was filmed. The mall's be remodeled a lot since it was filmed (the skating rink was where the food court is today), but it's still kind of cool to watch the movie and think, "I've been there." there was never an explanaition, only theories. I always thought the lack of information helped to add to the fear and hopelessness the characters had to face. If they knew what caused it, someone may try to go fix the problem. Not a movie I would really like to go see. IMO zombie movies are basically natural disaster films with a human buffet. completely agree with you.

No, it didn't. SNES outsold it 31.67 million in the US to Genesis' 27.17 million. Do any of you bother to check yoru facts? Interesting tidbit, the Genesis only sold 3.58 million units in Japan. yes it did I suspect his numbers are grand totals, but only for Sega-produced hardware. Remember, the SNES had 2 years as the bargin-bin deck of choice after Sega killed the Genny for the Saturn. Roughly analagous to sending your team back onto the field to score some more goals after the game's over and everyone went home. It let the SNES reclaim the lead, but in a totally irrelevant manner. And if I'm right, Majesco's Genesis3 and JVC's X'Eye wouldn't factor into the totals, being non-Sega hardware. Heck, if the numbers are intentionally biased, they may even exclude the Sega-produced Nomad and CDX. exactly

Yes, I updated windows today with some patch, and now that you mention it, since then i cant play. But strange thing is I've restarted the game and the PC on several ocassions and still cant play.

Problem with BF2 DEMO!!!! Help!!! It was working fine until yesterday. Now today, when I go to join any server, the little black box that says loading comes out, and then nothing happens and I stay and the server selection screen. Whats going on?

I will probably buy the PS3 at first, and most likely 6 months to 1 years after it has come out, to make sure there are plenty of good games. I might buy the other 2 down the road, but when they hit the $80-150 prince range, much like I did with the current generation.
