    I'm not sure, but import PS2 memory cards sure work in domestic PS2s.

    I rewatched about half of the show last year. Pretty well-animated for 80's TV standards. Doesn't have crap episodes like Macross does. I'm looking forward to the DVDs. Hopefully it will be the entire show without the cuts made for US TV, hopefully with Japanese audio, French audio, the Japanese and French OP and ED, as well as English stuff.

    What confirmation? I just got several "Order can't be fulfilled because the product was delayed" emails and then "We sent your item to your old address". What am I supposed to do? It's stupid as hell that updating your information in their system doesn't update it on your order.

    Lovely aerial shots does not excuse a limp, slow film with almost zero plot and awful jokes in place of any kind of useful or interesting dialogue. It was just a crappy ripoff of Mad Max with airplanes and some really terrible writing and acting.

    I haven't gotten my disc yet, since Rightstuf stupidly decided to mail it to me old address instead of my current one, despite me updating the information on their website like two weeks ago. Thanks, Rightstuf. Now I have to drive out there and hope the new people living there are not jerks.

    Slipstream? The movie with Bill Paxton? That was completely wretched. It wasn't even funny bad, it was just excrutiatingly boring bad. That was one of the few bad movies me and my friends could not even finish.

    Cool, I will go download it. But the old Giant Robo was not awesome because it took elements from most of Mitsuteru Yokoyama's manga stories, it was because Imagawa is an awesome and kind of insane director!

    Uh, Guyver is based on a comic book, and the character he plays is based on a comic book character and he completely sucks in that movie. So maybe he should stick to, I dunno, NOT ACTING.

    None of the art books really show the gun being involved in transformation. I don't think Aramaki thought about it.

    How do you know Mylene was untrained? It's perfectly believable that with two top ace pilots as parents Mylene would have received some flight training. My old girlfriend's dad was a pilot and she had some flying lessons when she was a teenager, and he just flew little prop planes and wasn't a dogfighting ace.

    The MODAT version? You mean the Garland, instead of the Proto-Garland from Part 2. MODAT is a strictly Robotech word.

    That's ironic. So what does that mean for the future of MechWarrior/Mech Assault/whatever games? Now Microsoft just makes them with one of its internal studios?

    If they could just license Battlech/MechWarrior exclusively, why bother to absorb their studio?

    No, when Shinji shows the Garland off to Shogo right before BD and his thugs attack, it is the brown/yellow color. The silver one does not appear in the anime at all, only in art books. Shogo has Coco repaint the brown/yellow military one red. The Proto-Garland only appears in Megazone 23 Part 2.

    They didn't just buy FASA Interactive, because they clearly have exclusive rights to use Battletech in video games, so it was more than just a design house, it was intellectual property as well.

    That's not quite right. FASA didn't go out of business. Microsoft BOUGHT them so they could have the lucrative MechWarrior video games exclusive to their platforms and dissolved FASA. They basically ate FASA for their intellectual property.

    Actually the silver Garland is in several old Megazone 23 art books and is NOT a scheme made up by Yamato.
