  1. Also remember memory sticks were wayyyyy more expensive when the PSP came out.
  2. Is it this? http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Robotech-Figur...1QQcmdZViewItem That's a bootleg of the cheap Takatoku/Mark toys which the Convertors toy is a US release of.
  3. Regarding the new Megazone anime: In an interview with Ishiguro he said it is only on hold until after Macross F so they don't have them competing, not that it was canned because people only like moe anime.
  4. Well, CD-ROM is accurate.
  5. Except, you know, AMERICAN TV.
  6. They problem is they are all quite poor as video games.
  7. Sorry our sound quality is so crappy for the DAPDX track. But I think it's awesome you are timing it to the footage!
  8. Eh, it's really not that exciting. Most of the art is also in the much better Artmic Design Works or the Official Art of Megazone 23 books. Nice graphic design though and I guess the new pictures are nice to see (mostly crap from the PS3 game).
  9. I really like both Roughnecks and the anime.
  10. Sheryl still rules. I like her BECAUSE she is a bitch.
  11. Guys, VIDEO TAPE. I have a VHS of Harmoy Gold's original Macross release called Boobytrap, which is the first three episodes dubbed by most of the same actors as Robotech, with a mostly accurate translation though there's some odd naming and word choices (Phaser X weapons, Rick Yamata) and of course the super bad new theme song. There is a DVD in the Robotech Legacy sets and presumably also in the Protoculture Edition that contains ONLY the first episode of this, and not all three that are on the video tape.
  12. We have a new podcast that may be relevant to your interests. It is about Super Dimension Century Orguss 02 and how much we love Manning! http://www.destroyallpodcastsdx.com MANNING!
  13. Same mecha designers worked on Southern Cross and Sentinels, dude.
  14. I have the casette for the HG Macross and it's the first three episodes and only one on the DVD.
  15. Robolinks and such are Takara products. Blockman: http://www.zincpanic.com/view_series.phtml?toys=24698
  16. It's sure spelled "sex" in the animation. Probably trying to avoid trademark violation.
  17. I have the physical book. That and the art book for part 1 are both pretty cheap and easy to get. Just buy it off ebay. It usually goes for like 20 bucks.
  18. We've already covered all of the Macross anime except Macross 7: The Movie, Dynamite 7, and since it's not finished yet, Frontier. We'll get the last two 7 bits done fairly soon.
  19. We have a new podcast! It is about Macross Zero! http://www.destroyallpodcastsdx.com
  20. It's no coincidence that Bandai is making toys for the full TV series and not for short OAVs.
  21. The SOC prototypes are pretty unimpressive for the most part. It's not until you seem them all painted up and gleaming metal that you go, "Wooooow".
  22. Uh, have you guys SEEN the Soul of Chogokin line? Bandai has been doing incredible high end collector's toys for yeaaaaaars.
