The VF-0 is A. a jet. It needs air to run. B. a next-gen testbed. It's too expensive to mass-produce(as if cost ever factored into the VF series...), because they threw every last widget they could think of onto it.
  2. Mmmmm....
  3. Interesting this thread is popped back up. AiA put episode 34 of the series up recently. It's nice to see the big G back in action.
  4. First rule of Transformers: Ultra Magnus is an ugly block.
  5. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was great.
  6. It's so you can tilt Optimus Prime's head back, push a red button, and go into the Batcave!
  7. You sort of mashed the titles together. There were TWO PCEngine CD games. One was MAcross 2036, the other was MAcross: Eternal Love Song.
  8. Educated guess: Not Macross, though it was likely inspired by Macross to some degree. First, the title looks to be "Strategic Variable Fighter Rafaga". The logo doesn't look like it says Macross(I'm going by looks and what little english is floating on the page, as I can't actually read japanese, but the fact that Macross only has 4 characters and the game logo has what looks to be 6 is a dead giveaway). Second: The modes are labelled fighter, spinner, and soldier, as opposed to the beloved fighter, GERWALK, battroid trio we all know. Third: The mech doesn't really look much like a Macross design. For example, doesn't Kawamori usually do something with the wings in battroid mode instead of just leaving them hanging out into midair?

    yamato sdf-1?

It's unarguably smaller than Pluto last I heard. And people are still raising a fuss occasionally about Pluto being a planetoid. And what is a toy line without the title toy? Actually is not a planet or planetoid, it is the folding system from the Macross! OF COURSE! It's so obvious, how could I miss it?
  10. Macross Plus is hte same story, only one is stretched out a little longer. Which is the better version is personal preference.
  11. At it's heart, it's still a Supervision Army vessel. I jut don't see why the Zentradi would have a factory capable of producing enemy vessels, but not their own ships.
  12. You can get virus updates free. They slap them up on their site for all the world to download. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/download.html
  13. There's at least one more. they ran across it on the way to the factory sattelite.

    Planetoid. Not planet.

Only if it's modded. Console manufacturers love their regional lockouts.

Man, a 1/48 SDF-1 would be about 75 feet long. Even in "crappy" 1/60 scale, it would be about 60 feet long. That thing wouldn't even fit in the garage. You'd need a warehouse! But you were just joking, right? Yes. I realize it's hard to tell sometimes. ... Now if it was 1:1, THEN I'd be serious...

Wow a 1/60 or a 1/48 SDF-1 Macross THAT WOULD BE HUGE!!! probably we can store it in the garage instead of the the car Just joking, they should make a Movie version of the Macross! I think we'd be storing the garage in it, actually.

Only if it's in 1/48. None of this 1/60 crap.
  22. Bah! Shockwave is a reissue of a Astro Magnum. All those early TF's are just reissues from other lines. But nostalgia means I'd rather have the TF one.
  23. Well said. Outside of nostalgia G1 largely sucks. Some of them are decent, but TRU is smoking crack to charge what they're charging normal price... sad part is that some people must be buying it! Nostalgia goes a LONG way. And they aren't even reissuing the GOOD stuff. If they reissue Shockwave, I'll be all over it, price be damned. Heck, if Megatron came to the States, I'd grab it, just to annoy some soccer mom.
  24. WHOO! SHAKE THAT ASS! Nice work. ... But don't they run on hydrogen? The only thing being exhausted should be water. </spoilsport>
