  1. One assist, if I recall the books correctly. He's got an assist on DS2 for blowing the power regulator before Lando blew the core, entitling him to paint a half a Death Star under his canopy.
  2. They were the best books. It also helped that most of the cast was created FOR these books, and it wasn't the Han, Luke, and Leia Power Hour. Aside from being blank slates full of potential instead of status quo tentpoles, there also wasn't a guarantee that everyone would be okay once the lasers started flying so action scenes had meaning.
  3. Set it after the evacuation of Hoth. Luke's off on Dagobah, no need to worry.
  4. Not gonna lie, I love that a rocket exploding as it lands is a "failure" instead of just "Well, landing a rocket is hard, it is impressive they got as close as they did".
  5. Man, when are they gonna do a Fangry update? Only Headmaster I had as a kid, and the only time they touched him since then was to do a head+targetmaster package.
  6. Nah. Face aside, I actually really like the head it came with. Back when it was expected to come with both heads in-box, I was planning to use the "wrong" head anyways.
  7. My Nicee finally arrived. After a shipping delay, and then what on the tracking page appeared to be my local post office receiving the package, getting drunk, holding onto it for a week without doing anything, and then sticking it on a truck back to the regional distribution center(who immediately sent it back to them, after which they promptly delivered it). I was actually worried she was mistaken for a PS5 and absconded with for a second. But she made it through eventually. I have not yet had the energy to figure out how to pose her or with what accessories(the illustrated "trading card" in the box shows her parked seated on the hood of her car mode, but I only ordered one). I love the paint job, though.
  8. Been a while, but I thought that was at least half "Where the heck are they going with MY plane?" like he thought it was getting space-repo'ed and had no idea that variable fighters need regular inspection and maintenance.
  9. Also, even an unarmed thirty-foot robot poses an inherent threat to pedestrians.
  10. I'd hope not, with a highly-visible VF-19 for security. Kinda thing that makes people think twice about smashing a window and taking off with the TV.
  11. "Here's the plans for the new jet." "I think there was a problem in the transmission, we're missing some parts." "No, that's complete and correct." "There's no computer. At all." "Oh, don't be such a baby. The Wright brothers didn't whine because they didn't have a computer."
  12. He might activate Speaker Pod Gamma first. I know people like to feel the music, but there oughta be limits.
  13. Except the ones snagged by scalper bots. And the ones nVidia presold to buttcoin diggers.
  14. I hate myself for laughing at that.
  15. Meanwhile, I just want Bumblebee with a new head. Bug Bite's supposed to be yellow!
  16. Still 'spensive as hell, but it is on the upper limit of what I can justify to myself. If it wasn't Voltron, I wouldn't even consider it. As I've said before, I understand how the price tag wound up where it is, but it is a hard pill to swallow.
  17. And there was much rejoicing.
  18. The used reactants. Fuse two atoms of hydrogen, you get an atom of helium. Fusion does not destroy matter, though it does change it radically.
  19. What does it emit? It is possible. We've demonstrated that light and radio emissions produce thrust. But not really effective, as they generate only the tiniest amounts of thrust even at dangerously-high power levels(Steering by Death Blossom). Pulling exotic matter out of fold space could prove effective, but also expensive. And more than a little dangerous. (Steering by Project Orion) There's just no real good substitute for launching a lot of mass out the door at high speed. Not in reality, and as near as I can tell not in Macross either.
  20. Part of me is just "Hell yes, I want all the things!" And then another part of me is just "Nope, we are not wearing a Silverhawks t-shirt out in public. I'd have to explain it, and I ain't explainin' no more 80s cartoons."
  21. Teaching engineers that someone has to work on their creations? You're doing god's work.
  22. Flash drives have been getting steadily larger and cheaper anyways. If anything, game consoles using relatively large, high-speed flash drives will drive prices UP, since there's now much more demand for a limited production of high-capacity, high-performance flash memory chips.
